well there you go…shows what my doctor knows.
i do lef.org blood work and i’m my own endo and schedule dosage accordingly. i even learned to do my own digital exam for prostate. okay i lied.
but i have prescription T.
one doctor i had before would spend all of three minutes with me but the kicker was… before we finished he’d put on his stethoscope, always touch my shoulder or back of neck than put the stethoscope to my back or heart area even when i had a coat on and act like he could hear something.
just asinine, but he wanted to give that personal touch like he was trying.

Update, I think 1/4 pill of Exemestane, is still crashing my E2. Tuesday no morning wood. I took dose on wednesday morning, felt good during the day. Thursday morning, had some morning wood. By thursday evening, felt overly emotional. Friday barely any mornig wood. Friday day, feeling a bit better and more stable.
Hacker, I read 90% of this thread, because i’m looking to start an AI and not sure my doctor is gonna prescribe. Probably will, but I’m almost as inpatient as you lol, so I think i’m gonna order some of the liquid anastrozole. Silly because i’ll probably still get the pills from my doc before they arrive, if i find a source online.
Anyway, I know you have moved on to “Exemestane” but in this post I’ll see PKNY talk of dosing Apex at 25mg. or 8mg, and then you will respond with .25mg or .8mg? PKNY always seems to give some sound advice, but are all those miss prints? Isn’t 25mg of Arimidex, 25 times what is recommended as a weekly starting dose? I just don’t wanna dose wrong when i get it. Is the liquid Anastozole dosed in different amounts of mg than the pill form??? Think I’ll just go with the .25mg 3 to 4 times a week, and then just see where that takes me. My E2 is 83 last tested, so like yourself, I wanna get things straightened out fast.
Which brings me to my thoughts of this thread? It Seems like a lot of your symptoms and problems have been over a relatively short period of time, I’m not trying to say “it’s all in your head” but it would seem like you bounced around too quickly with a lot of your protocol changes, and much like me, are getting stressed out about worrying where these numbers might be at, a little too fast. My libido was actually pretty strong until I actually saw the number 83 for me E2 (0 - 39 on quest range) I know my libido is not all it can be, but thinking the knowledge is causing it to be much worse. I would guess at some point your numbers where perfect, but at least in my opinion, if your stressed and worried about the strength and ability of your boner, it might not matter where your numbers are at. Sounds like you are on the right track now, I’m just thinking maybe relax a little and give slight adjustments a chance. You may have prolonged the period of time it’s gonna take you to get things right. Best of luck.

judge your dosage effectiveness by how you feel, perform sexually throughout the day, energy levels, and how the body feels.
Morning wood isn’t a good indication imo. I’ve had days where I wake up with a weapon in my trousers but feel like garbage as well as days where I have no morning wood but am ready to take on the world.

Aromasin is 25mg per 100mg test per week.
Both of these in divided doses.

@PKNY, Thanks for the clarification. I suppose we’d figure we shouldn’t take an entire bottle of the apex in one week, but it’s very inexpensive, so can’t be too careful.
@ everyone, I have decided to stop taking an AI till my next labs, on Wdenesday. My last dose should have been on Saturday morning. Im feeling much better the pat few days. My rationale, I noticed more knee joint aching, and shoulders, not to mention moody (emotional). Things are going so weel in my life (I have my cake, and can eat it to) that I should be on top of the world, and happy, this wqs not happening. (Im feeling better)
Also, my estadiol was soo sky high, because wife was doubling my Test dose thte last time I took labs. Id assume, halfing my test, my estradiol wil also fall, maybe the AI helped while I was in the reduction phase. But im thinking now im more close to normal E2. Any way, its only 7 days with no AI by wednesday, and Ive been down that path when switcing from Adex, to Exemestane. I will report labs as soon as I get them. Probably next wedensday.
Meanwhile, ill keep you posted for any issues.

Wow, just re-read my post. That practically made no sense!
In short, after taking the AI I feel like crap, and as the days go on I feel better. Its been 6 days, and im thinking just now my E2 is getting just a bit high. I feel a bit nervouse, or edgy , or emotioal maybe. I have my lab tests tomorrow morning. Depending on if this feeling gets stronger by tomorrow, I may decide to take the AI, but plan on taking only half of a quarter, as I still feel that a quarter crashes my E2.
BTW, no more aching, or knees cracking.
Hey folks, some interesting updates.
6 days with no AI, on the 6th evening I started feeling nervous, edgy, emotional. On the 7th day, I was kinda a wreck. I took 1/8 of exemestane, and the next morning woke up with morning wood, and was also feeling great. Woke up before my alarm.
Toward the evening, around 4-5, I started feeling un-easy, edgy, emotional. I took another 1/8 of exemestane and felt great the next morning. Evening same symptoms.
I have been taking the dosage later and later, and like clock work is, its working later into the night.
Each day I feel a little better than the past. But i’m leary taking more for fear of crashing my E2. Cutting up these pills into 1/8 is a major pain, and every night. Can I crush into vodka like I did with Adex? What would the ratios be?

I had a quick question.
It appears to me that even taking 1/8 of Exemestane crashes my E2. Although mentally feel fairly sharp, and even keeled spirits, my libido and ED are in full affect after taking my dose. I cant seem to dial in when im supposed to take my AI. So, I took my normal dose on Wednesday morning, and by evening, no libido (for sure tested). Thursay night, started to come back (tested) but this Friday a.m. i’ve started to feel a little edgy, nervous, (my usual tell tale sign, to take my AI) not sure what to do here, should I take it, and crash my E2, ride it out for a few more days? Is it an upswing maybe in between low E2 to normal E2?

I was taking T 50mg Friday, Sunday. AI 1/8 EOD. This is tough to manage. Mainloy ED issues, or overly emotional at end of day.

Take T Friday, and Monday. Take 1/4 AI @ noon on the same day?
