Velocity Diet Supplements

Alright! my visa is here. I am now going to spend some money that i don’t have…on supps for the Velocity Diet.

These are the supplements I am going to order and if anyone knows any other supplements that will help me become lean while on the Velocity Diet i would appreciate any advice.

Im going to order .

1 Maximum Strength HOT-ROX
1 Spike
1 ZMA ( for sleeping problems : S )
3 Surge
3 Low-Carb Grow!, Chocolate, Vanilla, orange

I was wondering if I should get a Carbolin 19? would it help with lean muscle during the Velocity Diet my goals are to lose FAT while keeping lean muscle…Any advice is greatly appreciated from my fellow T-Nation members!!

I’d watch out the HOT-ROX + Spike. They reccommend you dont take them together.

All you have to have is Low-Carb Grow!, HOT-ROX, and Surge. And if your budget is really limited you could drink a glass of skim chocolate milk instead of Surge. Not perfect, but better than nothing. Some have had success using no post-workout drink, but those who use one get better results.

No need for Spike (and you may not want to mix with HOT-ROX anyway) and no need for ZMA or Carbolin 19, although Carbolin 19 is fantastic for coming off the diet. The other supplements will prevent muscle loss all by themselves, so Carbolin 19 isn’t a must for during the diet. Save it for after.

thank you for the advice I won’t be taking Spike and after this Velocity Diet i want to go right into a bulking phase where I gain muscle soo i want to know what supplements I should get and when you said Carbolin 19 is good for coming off the diet in what way? can u explain it abit more and I don’t have a budget i will speed what is necessary to achieve the results I want. thanks again guys.

I’m going to need some attempt at punctuation, capitalization and spelling to understand this question completely. I just don’t have time to decipher code.

I will try to write at a bit higher level.
So how will Carbolin 19 help me when I come off/finish the Velocity Diet? That is my question.

I intend to enter a Bulking phase as soon as I finish the V-diet so should I order the Carbolin 19 with this V-diet order too so I don’t have to make another order in a month, correct? What would you suggest Chris?

Also, if you are cancelling out the Spike you might go with two HOT-ROX as that is what most people are using (max dose).

I am not Chris, but…

Based on the info provided in the Carbolin 19 Product Info article, people have been able to gain muscle mass (and lose fat) while on a maintenance level diet.

When you come off the diet you will have been using a sub-2000kcal diet. At that point it would not be smart to just run wild on a bulking phase back to 6000kcal.

The proper post-V-Diet approach is a taper back to appreciable maintenance calories to allow your metabolism to properly fire up with the “new you”. Carbolin 19 would actually allow you to build muscle during this phase as well as continue burning fat.

I cannot speak for Chris, so this is just my opinion… I personally don’t find the V-Diet as something that should be used for switching between bulking… cutting… bulking… cutting… I think it would mean too much of each extreme and just leave you in a situation that you could have achieved through cleaner bulking alone.

I view the diet, and Chris please correct if I am wrong, as something that should be used as just as much a quick cut-down as a diet “reset button”. Don’t use the success of the V-Diet as an excuse to jump right into a quick/sloppy bulk phase. Taper up with a clean Carbolin 19 based bulk and you will be setting yourself up for more appreciable success.

Carbolin 19 info here:

I’ve found that it not only helps with muscle gain but it helps prevent excess fat gain on a mass phase.

Don’t enter a bulking phase as soon as you finish any strict fat loss diet. You’ll end up yo-yo’ing. It’s better to have a transition phase as written in the diet article or my <a href=“http://www.t-nation.com/category.jsp?categoryID=37&pageNo=1"target="new”>blog on it (I forget which.) Basically, this is where you add some calories, carbs and solid foods, but not a lot yet. Should be at least a couple of weeks long.

Might as well order them together though. I started Carbolin 19 as soon as I entered my transition phase off the V-Diet.

Good luck!

Alrighty!! Thanks for all your advice guys!
