Velocity Diet Questions

Hello all,

I have been lifting for about 6 months now and have been seeing signifigant strength and size results. Also, I have noticed a small but noticeable change in my body composition. However, I want to speed up the loss of some fat, especially around the mid section. I am thinking about starting the velocity diet next week and I have a couple of questions.

First, I was wondering if having a serving of Surge before, during, and after a workout would be good modification or not. I have just read elsewhere that having Surge before a workout can be a good thing. Would in the V-diet?

Second, I have been taking some samples of Spike with Carbolin 19 and have had no adverse reactions. Can I expect the same with HOT-ROX, or would this be a completely different situation?

Finally, and related to that second question, I have been taking Carbolin 19 for about six weeks. would it be better to switch to HOT-ROX if the is an adverse interaction or stick with Carbolin 19 as this time frame is where the real results are suppose to kick in.

Thanks all!

That depends on how much you weigh now and what your caloric requirements on the Velocity Diet will be. On training days, I needed to hit no more than 1600 calories. I determined that Surge both before and after my morning workout would introduce too many calories into my diet, unless I wanted to either (at 6.5 servings of Low Carb Grow!) a) make most of my shakes only 1 serving instead of 2 or b) stop taking in any calories after about 4 in the afternoon. Since neither option was attractive to me, I replaced my pre-workout Surge with 1.5 servings of Low-Carb Grow!

Unfortunately, I can’t answer your other questions. Good luck on the diet. It worked well for me!

As for the Carbolin 19 or HOT-ROX on the V-Diet. I would lean toward the HOT-ROX. it will give you the greatest benefit toward your goal with the V-Diet of losing FAT and preserving LBM.

Then after the Cut go back to the Carbolin 19 to help build more mass whiule limiting fat gain.

Thats my choice anyway.

I think also that yes you could use the Surge in the same amount only putt some or all of uit prior to your w/o. This may be of extra benefit on an extremem low carb diet like the V-Diet. Giving you an extra little boost for youtr w/o.

Give it a try and see which way works best for you. I think Chris even talked about swicthing it up a bit and using some of his Surge during his w/o while he was inventing the V-Diet.

Hope that helps,
Phill

Phil,
thanks for the toughts. I may also try having a small bowl of Oatmeal with some Grow before my workout, and stick with the diet otherwords.
