No scale. Almost no diet, day of sins.

Day 18

No scale that morning. Finally got home, was busy building 2 PCs which takes a lot of energy but not a lot of steps.
Bloating has increased after w/e, should get back to ā€˜normalā€™ soon.

Day 19

87.7 kg morning weight (lucky toilet timing), but thatā€™s good I didnā€™t gain weight.

Equipped Garmin devices and did a trail running session: 5km 6:18 avg pace, 145 avg HR. Taking into account a lot of hills on my way and the fact that I havenā€™t been running for a long time, this is good.

Adding up morning walk, got 18k steps in total.

I hate plactic protein shakers so recently got a glass one. This is some Italian brand and for alcohol cocktails, but Iā€™m tricking it and mixing protein. So much easier to wash and much better user experience while drinking.

So far things are going good, looking forward for noticeable belly fat reduction. Lost fat on my sides and my favourite jeans and other pants are falling downā€¦

14k steps + 1h stretching
7 days remaining, hopefully to drop weight to 86 kg or lower and waist size below 90 cm.

w/e cheating seems like boosted my metabolic rate

Day 21

87.2 kg morning weight (-0.4 daily, -4.0 total)
91 cm morning waist size. I guess itā€™s fair 3.5 cm loss for now, if I forcefully expand my belly I get around 94-95cm waist size. At the time of diet start in fully ā€˜expandedā€™ state it was 98-99cm. Seems like a progress.

Not on strict diet mode (allowing some berries after protein shake once per day) but still losing weight.

16k steps, long and stressfull day. job interview.

Got Muay Thai training this day so had to shift my HSM to 15:30 and had some normal food after training again. I could resist but I thought I really needed it.

I donā€™t remember when last time I was below 87 kg, years and years agoā€¦

If I could I would make it another week with diet, 35 days would be perfect to lose enough belly fat in one diet cycle. But since I have a vacation trip, thinking about a second round later.

15k steps, 1h stretching.
My vacation trip has been cancelled which is sad, but means that I can continue my diet for as much time as I want. The only problem is that Iā€™m running out of chocolate protein and cannot get it that fast. I wish there was also a banana flavour Metabolic Drive protein available.

Been having complicated feelings these days because I am not sure how much fat I lose. Belly seems the same as a week ago but I might be very wrong about it. Still have some bloating which messes with my waist measurement. I might be just losing visceral body fat which is not very visible but losing it is important process. I had a skin fold caliper which would be helpful now to track progress but must have thrown it away because not been using in years.

On 28th day will see how it went and make a decision of what to do after.

Day 25

Muay Thai training day, so had 2 normal meals: before and after (each reduced in size compared to usual HSM).

Felt miserable all day, but after training everything became just fine.

Youā€™ve lost 4.4kg - youā€™re definitely losing fat. The problem is we lose it first in the places we care about least, so we donā€™t see the results where we want immediately. Keep killing it! Youā€™ll get there

Day 26

No special activities, just walking and recovery process.

15k steps. Took a bit more HSM than usually which is a mistake.

Yep, I understand that the best moment to lose fat is right now, the best moment I had in 5-7 years actually. And stopping would be a huge mistake.

I think Iā€™m going to continue my diet for another week, go slightly below 85 kg. No time pressure now because Iā€™ll go have a vacation no sooner than in 2 weeks.
June is not a good time for dieting because there are plenty of fruits and berries coming, want to eat them allā€¦ But I wonā€™t regret the result of having an opportunity to rebuild my body in a better way.

Those are typically awesome diet foods. Definitely include them in your solid meals for now and then enjoy pretty freely in a couple weeks!

Day 27

86.5 kg morning weight. Waist size seems to be reaching 90cm, very slow but still good.
No mood, no energy, was hungry despite having a breakfast shake.
Allowed myself a cup of cappuccino ā€˜salted caramelā€™ from a coffee shop right after stretching class - the pleasure was great and removed my bad mood.

I guess Iā€™ve been a bit too much relaxed about my diet, going into strict mode starting on Friday, June 23.

Went to the gym also, mostly doing shoulder training.

That damn job interview did not good and interfered with my life. Got some anxiety back, broke my sleeping pattern.

I used to go to bed at 11pm and get up around 8am. Had time to walk before the breakfast shake at 9:30. Now I wake up around 9:00-9:30 which does not give me time for a walk and I couldnā€™t fall asleep before 12am.
Will try to get up earlier on Friday and make it the way it was before.

So better to avoid any events which may affect your life and break daily routine while on diet.

Recovery day, took a long walk before HSM, 16k steps.

Nothing else to say, week 5 is starting, going to continue because still not happy about my belly fat amount.

86.2 kg morning weight (-0.3 daily, -5.0 total)

Muay Thai day, got some injuries which are not serious but probably wonā€™t be able to walk much and achieve my steps goal in a couple of days.

Superfood is ended, curcumin is ended but I have a spare one. Chocolate protein will end soon and this will make my life much more difficult.
