Velocity Diet Cookies

Yes, you read that right. Cookies for the Velocity Diet. Chewy (kind of dry, you will need some water to drink), but cookies none the less. To make these tasty (and chewable) treats, follow these instructions:

2 scoops chocolate Metabolic Drive
2 tbsp natural peanut butter (ingredients should read: Peanuts, salt)
2 tbsp ground flax seed (1 serving)
1/8 cup water
Non-stick aluminum foil.
Oven heated to 325° F

Mix all ingredients together. Don’t worry, there is enough water. Keep mixing. The consistency should be VERY thick and sticky. Yes, keep mixing. Is all the powder absorbed (no longer powdery)? Good. You can stop now.

Portion out on the foil. You can either make a few individual cookies, or a single loaf. Either way, make them about 1" thick. Bake for about 3-4 minutes, or until it looks shiny on top and dry around the edges.

For those of us who crave stuff to actually chew, these cookies are very nice.

As the wife who got to “help” sample the results: they’re, as he stated, rather dry, but certainly chewable. And they taste a lot better than they look. (That is the worst photo ever.)

Is adding the flax seed (fats) okay to do if there are carbs in the PB and powder? Or are these carbs of a low enough ratio?

There is quite a bit of fat in the Peanut Butter already. The small amount the flax adds will not adversely affect anything. This is just a different way to consume the final V-Diet shake of the day. The ingredients are the same things that would be in the shake if you drank it.

The “do not mix fats and carbs” rule does not mean that you have to avoid all carbs when you have fats (and vice versa). Unless you are on a very strict diet, such as Berardi’s “Get Shredded”, a couple grams one way or the other will not kill you.
