So here I am, trying to prove that you can lift and get big without resorting to eating animal products. I’ve been lifting for 3 years, hard, I also to yoga, pilates, and stretching exercises. My favorite things in the gym are bench press, curling, push ups, abs. I don’t do to much to my legs cause i don’t want them to get bulky, plus i have a weak lower back, so its difficult to squat. So i don’t.
If anybody is interested in diet or supplement options that are animal based, please private message me. I’m living proof that you don’t need to eat meat to get big.
umm how much do you weigh? 130 maybe? Your shoulders don’t look too bad man, but you really need to bring up your pecs.
I doubt your legs would get “bulky” if you did some leg work as you aren’t bulky anywhere. I can totally understand the hurt back man, but I would suggest leg press, hack squats, and leg curls. All of those are nice and easy on the lower back.
Back extensions helped my back tons so you might want to try them.
Oh my. No offense dude but you are not big'' by any stretch of the imagination, and from a musclehead’’ perspective these pics really aren’t helping your vegan cause.
heck, if it weren’t for the ``vegan’’ tattoo on your stomach I would have figured you for an anorexic.
All joking aside, you are obviously very lean but you have little muscle mass. Plus the type of physique you have is probably mostly genetic rather than any real credit to proper training. I grew up as a vegetarian so I know its possible to get big without eating flesh, but I do think some type of animal protein is necessary to pack on the type of mass that’s going to impress people at a site like T-Nation. Good luck on you mission, and lose the beard
I gonna take this at face value and not call troll, because the guy isn’t super tiny and he has a few pounds of muscle. OP, you need to train every bodypart you’ve got. Especially since your diet is less than ideal for building muscle.
Pick any of the routines on this site and work it hard. For nutrition, check Mike Mahler’s stuff. He’s a vegan too and he’s in crazy shape. Robert Dos Remedios too. He’s a great coach and he’s vegan. But on a side note, if you ever do change your principles, you know you’ll have to get “NOT A” tatooed above your belly button, right? lol.
I gave you a 4, only because your upper back and shoulders look like they responded to whatever you were doing, but there’s tons of room for improvement. Oh, and I’d give you a +.5 for the amish beard if it was possible.
If you wanna be a walking advertisement for Vegans and convince people its suitable for bodybuilding you better pack on at least another 50 lbs.
And telling everyone you don’t squat cause your back is weak is just asking for trouble. Man up and get in the squat rack. You’ll be amazed at how your weak back turns into a piece of steel after a few months of squatting.
Your leaving people here very unimpressed if you thought otherwise. Out of curiosity what are your physical goals other than not getting those dreaded and dangerous bulky squads.
you dont squat cause you have a weak lower back…how about instead of listening to annie defranco and eating green beans, you get your skinny soft ass to the gym and start squating…Man up softy

Um haven’t seen the proof yet that you can get big from eating like a sissy.
Please tell me those are before pictures.
LOL. Your muscle is compact? No, if you can truley bench 275, then your muscle is EFFICIENT(not compact, there is no such thing) cuz you surely are NOT big.
I think most people doubt you can bench 275, so I’d suggest posting a video.
Im living proof that you dont need to eat poor animals just to get big[/quote]
Damn man, I tried to help you out before, but you’re making it tougher. Your upper body is not the upper body of a double bodyweight bench presser. Youtube it to prove me wrong, puleeze.
Out of curiousity, what’s you routine like and what do you eat everyday?

2. W/R/T your statement about not eating poor animals: All the animals i eat are middle class or above. Poor animals i leave alone.

hahaha. im proud of you, it’s time for the socio-economical animal class discrimination to end.
I can understand why people chose not to eat animals because of the way they can be treated in certain parts of the industry, but you’ll get no love here.
I couldnt imagine weight lifting without animal products and dairy. I eat pork, chicken beef, eggs and cheese in large amounts.
And truth is, you’re very skinny, all you’re proving is that it’s near on impossible to grow muscle wothout animal and animal by products. Yes you’ve got nuts and beans etc, but it aint enough. We’re carnivors - it’s in our heritige as humans.
And there’s no way you can bench 275. LOL. Guys twice your size at my gym bust a gut to rep that out.
