I have been using Biotest supps recently and I love em, but the shipping to Canada has just increased significantly so I am gonna get my protein elsewhere (although SPIKE etc. will still come from Biotest)
I have been using Grow! for a while and I love the taste because I can mix it with anything and not worry about it messing up the flavour, i.e. oatmeal or Gatorade.
So my question… Do most Vanilla proteins taste similar to the “Natural” flavour of Grow! or are they stronger tastes?
Go to an SND store. If you factor in s/h and exchange rate these stores aren’t too bad for Biotest supps. I use them when I need MD and Surge. The little bottles (TRIBEX, HOT-ROX, etc) I still order online.
Not sure about other Canadian places (especially Alberta it seems) but in Ontario at least, everything from Biotest has come through and with our exchange rate now it’s fairly decent to order right from here.
Any protein powder that I’ve tried that was vanilla flavoured was horrible. I ended up giving it away. It was that bad. I am reluctant to try vanilla MD because of this, but I may order it when I try the Spike Shooters.
Most vanilla proteins will have a stronger taste than Grow!. Metabolic Drive and Metabolic Drive Complete Vanilla kick some serious ass. Probably one of the best flavors.

The vanilla flavours that I’ve tried seemed to have tried to mask the flavour of the whey protein. There isn’t any of this with MD? I’ve had the chocolate and banana flavours, and they were pretty good. I’m just not so sure about vanilla. =)
Yea, well I am going to go to SND, but I just want to find a flavour of protein that is neutral, because using Grow! has worked well, and I dont want to buy a 5lb tub (or even 2lb) of something that tastes awful and cant be mixed with other stuff.
I live in Toronto, so I am still trying to find someone who will split the shipping from Biotest with me.
