Valentine's Day for Men

Florida. On the seaside.
Had to walk on soft sand for 40 minutes to reach the altar.

Walking 40 min back scratching and itching like hell was not fun.

I even went in the water to try to stop the allergic reaction but the sharks feed at night and I decided to opt for the itchy rash of the insect bites.

Remember safety

I did not read in detail on the other thread but my impression is that you are really into this guy and I see here you sweating and stressing over this one day in the life of your relationship and I really would hate for you to present yourself to him - regardless of what you chose to do - as a stress ball.

Allow yourself to make mistakes and “ruin the plan” and watch him still love you for it and in spite of it.
Please don’t be afraid of getting it “wrong”.

Ultimately, what men really want from modern women is for you to be his woman - in what ever way you chose to share yourself with him.

The above was an encouragement and an example that sometimes things do go wrong and it is still memorable.

If you and him do like cars, it is an idea to go for a joy ride and scream and screech tires.
Get up to some mischief.

Don’t let yourself be troubled over the “sex” part. That just happens naturally if you stay relaxed and connected to yourself and him and the experience you chose to engage in together.

Let your hair down and just be totally carefree for that day: for your own sense of wellbeing and for him.

What if you’re not in the mood? what if he isn’t? Are you going to really force a fake experience of love, lust or whatever it is you are planning?
Exactly.

Welcome back, by the way.

I trust you will reenact this with Bill in Montana in June while I document it for Animal Planet-Reality Kings Channel. Sounds like a great way to celebrate…ummm…Summer Solstice Day!
Ha!

He is even more private than I am - but we might just stealthily disappear.

Doesn’t appear to provide much in the way of defensive armor. If I am going fantasy midevil wench, I want some authenticity from my woman.

Have her do the full Joan of Arc thing.

How far is Williams and Dunn County ND from you? I am around there all the time, and will bring a stash of Title II weapons so we can blow up a bunch of crap.

637 miles from my place to Williston.

I sure would like to blow up a bunch of crap though,
Push, where are you at in Montana?

Push I saw a glimpse of Whitefish, absolutely beautiful.

I have to take a trip your way, the nature out there is beyond spectacular.

I was more just looking for feedback on cards, candy, other gifts.

Don’t piss away money on a card. A card is for someone who lives far away who you don’t get to see very often, when you just want to let them know you’re thinking about them. But if you can and will see someone on the special day in question, it’s epically lame to get a card. Don’t buy candy. If he has a sweet tooth, and you have culinary skills, make him something. Something that takes time and talent to make means a lot more than some souless high fructose corn syrup shit you throw down money for. If you can think of something that he actually really wants and needs get a gift but that’s on you.

But everybody’s different. He might really love cards and big red stuffed teddy bears and shit.

I HAVE DECIDED. I’m giving him a trip to a nearby-ish city to see one of my relatives in a college play on the Saturday following VD. Another relative may travel from a different city to join us! (Not for sex, though. Although I don’t think he’d be opposed to it. But that’s not the sort of thing she and I do together usually. We’re more into talking.)

What could be more romantic than a weekend with my extended family?

I’m sniffin’ around that “usually” remark. I smell an opportunity.
I used to chase my cousin Patrick around and try to kiss him, but I’ve never done that to any of the girl cousins.
