EmmyDear, if your BF is as awesome as you say he is, then he will not only act interested, he will get all mushy and wrap you up in his arms.
that’s what we do.
I know, it’s a mixed message - but it’s necassary to keep up appearances.

My wife is now currently well aware that I think cards are a waste of money.
But when we first started dating I had to take a business trip to Chicago. On the day I was scheduled to leave, I walked out of my apartment to my car to find an “I’ll be missing you” type card on my windshield that she left me.
I called her, told her how thoughtful it was and yada yada, the whole time thinking in the back of my head what a complete and utter waste of time it was, haha.

we exchanged cards this morning, got all sappy and hugged our VD morning away.
can I think of a better way to spend money, sure - but wimmenz need this shit to shore up thier emotions, or something to that effect.
it’s the least I can do to feed into thier insecurities, no?

Which I’ll like…so I’ll get all happy and start nibbling his neck…which he’ll like…and then he’ll get his hands all up in my hair…which will make me me sort of melty…and then we’ll do things we both like…
I don’t see the problem! I’m thinking it’s $3.50 well spent. Maybe I’ll get him another card for the trip to see the play. ![]()
My finger nails are drying. Un-social-worker-like RED. Flowers came to work today. Also un-social-worker-like red.
Having a happy day.
Happy Valentine’s Day to all you weird and incomprehensible men! (And also you, SP!)
Don’t make a big deal about it because I guarantee he doesn’t give two shits about it, he is probably doing whatever he is doing because he feels like he has to.

I don’t know, he seemed pretty happy. Really growly and aggressive with happiness. Or…maybe it was me who was so happy! I’m not sure.

You are not sure.
There might be more than your emotional perception.
Progress.
Oh please. I don’t think very many people in the world would question that I know there are other perceptions than my own.

That is trivial.
I had sessions of high weed and shrooms consumption just so that I could not only think but feel the female emotional reality.
In comparison, you did what?
Lecture men that they should “man up” and accept your frame?
Swell, how shall I put this, you are an amateur, you have put nothing into this, you have risked nothing, you have not tested your theories on the sharp cliffs of reality, you just have an opinion.
Either, you get in the ring, or you GTFO.
What else is there?

Oh, enlightened one, please tell us how twisting your own perception somehow reveals the thoughts and feelings of over half of the worlds population!
Maybe we can test it on those sharp cliffs of reality.

If I could put it into an abstract reality, drugs would not be needed.
I can only answer with a quote that a girl named Regina told me at the age of 16, reality is not something to be understood but to be experienced.
I can give you a rough map of the female mind, but that is meaningless unless you do not have a rough idea what it feels like.
Weed makes me think less and feel more, hence I think more like a woman.
Dont like it?
Lick my nutsack.
Be thorough.
