Back from the weekend trip home. I own a business back there so things were a bit hetic working but over all was good. I did cheat a bit though having a HSM on both friday and saturday =[. I feel terrible for giving in and it’s not going to happen again. I did try to keep calories in check for both meals so 3 Shakes each day and a hsm (Chicken and broccoli friday, steak and steamed veggies the next). Today 4 shakes down with all the supps and BCAAs. Tomorrow I’ll be posting new pictures, new measurements and stats.

Now for some numbers
Weight this morning was 177, down from 184 at the start (Knowing three pounds was water and stomach content from the carb up before) so 4 pounds of “loss”.
Measurements were pretty exciting
Waist (Hip area, between belly button and chest) 36 to 33 1/2"
Waist (Around belly button) 37 to 35 1/2"
Chest 39 to 38"
Arms 14 to 13 1/2"
Forearms 11 1/2" stayed the same
Thighs 24 to 23 1/2"
Calves 16 to 16 1/2"
Neck 16 to 15 3/4"
The belly is shrinking pretty dramatically. I wish I would of taken measurements like this the first time on the V-Diet. I’ll throw up some pictures today or tomorrow when I get time after class.

Looking at the pictures I dont think I look that different but I’m gonna post em anyway.
Here’s me being extremely tired after studying for exams.

I work out tonight so gonna try the peanut butter around 6:30 before a 7:30 workout (seemed to boost a little bit of energy throughout day so will try with workout)
Looking at them side by side I see a difference in the back photo. those inches off the hips really do show.
Come a long way from 40% bf, lets make it down as long as we can. Around the 14th of this month will make it 5 months I’ve been at it and I must say I’m pretty damn proud of myself. Works not over yet.
Who’s ever won a medal finishing 2/3rds of a marathon?

Good work so far.
Do you find the BCAA’s help you a lot? I was thinking of ordering a bottle but haven’t made up my mind yet if I need them.

I think the BCAA’s have helped alot with my workouts and recovery in general. I don’t feel as fatigued while I use them as I do normally. I think they are a must for anytime but when on the lower calories of the V-Diet, it feel refreshed when you wake up is a blessing after workouts.

Nice work so far Higgins, keep it up!
Quick question: From reading the Superhero Hangout thread, people suggest the program is a high volume program, which would require a lot of calories per day (4-5K). Since you are on the V-Diet, are you experiencing any fatigue or any issues with the program, in terms of amount of weight lifted? It looks like your lifts are holding up pretty good, didn’t know if you were having any issues with the high volume program/low cal diet.
Thanks and keep on keepin on!!
Good job so far Higgins. I can see the your waist starting to firm up. Don’t worry, that 2 pack will increase! You have a good attitude with the long term goals. I know you can get there if you just keep that mind set.
You’ve come a long way and deserve to get those abs! I know the feeling my brother! Keep it up Higgins, you are making it happen!

I tend to get fatigued on the last exercise before abs and the abs are rough but doable, some of the supersets can get taxing but no real issues. I’m taking BCAA’s this time around on the V-Diet and have noticed that they do help my muscles feel refreshed whenever I wake up as opposed to the last V-Diet that I felt like hell usually every morning. Sweet amino acids!

I really appreicate the support Gus, your transformation has been mind blowing thus far.
