I’m 5’7", 135lbs, 10% BF, trying to get into the single digits. Put on a decent bit of muscle from starting training about 4 months ago (arms have gone up one inch - love the newb gains) - but visiting friends in about 3 weeks and want to have my abs shredded, right now I they are looking ok. Chris recommended me to do 2 weeks of V-Diet only, and then casually go back into the transition phase/etc. This is what I have outlined…opinions?
NON-TRAINING:
fiber:
10 tablets/day → 45 x 5 = 225 cal
fish oil:
20 tablets/day → 10 x 18 = 180 cal
Biotest Metabolic Drive:
4 shakes/day → 4 x 100 = 400 cal
Flax oil tablet:
6 tablets/day → 1 x 60 = 60 cal

total w/ omelet: 1100 cal (my abs. minimum)
carbs: 36 grams
protein: 80 grams (seems a little low)

Note: I want to get lean first, then do carb cycling for my build and burn phases, so please don’t tell me to drop this V-Diet etc, then do just mass building.
I am going to do a 2 week V-Diet in a couple weeks when I build up enough money as well. I don’t think I’m going to have a whole meal every day though just one per week.
I have a question though what else is in those fiber tablets you are taking because fiber doesn’t have calories so it must be something else included (possibly sugar).
And why are you only taking one serving of Metabolic Drive in each shake? Chris’ V-Diet called for 2 scoops for each shake.
oh…that could be why my protein is so low. will do 2 scoops. or at least 1.5 (dont have enough money to support 2 scoops, 4 times a day, for 2x weeks lol)
the fiber pills are sugarfree, from “FIber Choice”, its the Assorted Orange Medley flavor. They have 90 pills in one box. It’s pictured in the article, where he is talking about fiber.
also, btw, the only reason I’m adding that meal each day is because I was wondering why my calories were so low, but with that additional scoop, you’re right, its not needeed at all.
no i’m not. i just want to get lean before i start my building/burn carb cycling phase…i’m right now almost there, this is just for the last few lbs. plus i’m visiting friends in a few weeks and i want the excess fat off.
u know i read an article that says a woman should never go below 1200 calories…
moving on to my second point, if you were to put on lean mass at 10 percent, say 145 and 8 pounds of it was muscle and 2 pounds fat, your body fat would drop, so why are you cutting?

besides its winter, i’m pretty sure i have good genes as far as weight building goes, so i can maybe pack on up to 15 lbs lean muscle by this summer. wish me luck.
