Uvalde School Shooting

Or, if you live in someone else’s home, you need their permission to buy a weapon.

Some schools might not feel they are needed. Maybe they can’t afford it. It has nothing to do with politics as places like that Democrat shithole Chicago have police in their schools.

A school is probably safer with armed security but it’s not a guarantee as we have already seen. Even at Uvalde good guys with guns were useless.

The whole gun debate might be worth having but it’s also a distraction from deeper issues. Yes, in some places an 18 year old lunatic can by so called assault rifles legally. Meanwhile, in Chicago, a kid can easily but a gun illegally. The real issue is why Americans are so homicidal. In my opinion, one factor is the destruction of the nuclear family. And one way that has occurred is via the demonization of masculinity. Look at how many kids are brought up. They have single mothers at home, then, the majority of teachers they have, especially in elementary school, are women. The majority of principals are women. Of course this will sound sexist, maybe it is, but women are raising the majority of young murderers in this country.

Implying what?

I was is 7th grade when columbine happened, so i guess i was somewhat brought up around it. But we never did anything different. No lockdown drills or metal detectors. As a highschool student you could come and go as you pleased. The doors were always open and parents walked in freely anytime they wanted.

There were school shootings before columbine too. The odd change in the past decade or so is the shooters dont seems to be out to settle a score. Theres not a hitlist of bullies to get even with. They just kill without descretion. Why is an 18 year old so pissed off? And who is he so pissed off at?

Almost all of these shooters come from fatherless homes. Id be interested to see a graph showing the breakdown of the family compared to the rise in mass shooting,to see how they coincide.

Breakdown of the family. What was lost with the breakdown that is negatively affecting the kids, and what should we do to fix it?

Social skills, conflict resolution, work ethic, delayed gratification, normal test levels, the word no, pride, dignity, respect for others and self, doing things as a family… the list is long.

They wouldn’t want a gun if they could have a gun. Which is good because most shouldn’t have one.

I don’t think fatherlessness or messed up family dynamics is a new phenomenon. Definitely not unique to the US.

I wonder if shooting up a school is just the new cool thing among crazies.

While putting up armed guards everywhere can work, I don’t think it’s a good long term solution.

Right, so what do you do to fix it?

It’s not “new” but has been increasing

I am pretty much a cynic when I see data and graphs. I want to see a detailed Measurement System Analysis report.

Are there actually two parents in the house, or is it just reported that there two parents living in the house? And other concerns …

This is my source, you’re welcome to pull any information you’d like from it.

Data integrity is always a concern, and humans just add a complexity to data gathering.

Have you ever looked into the pathologies that are the outcomes of fatherless homes?

Plenty can be done, but a lot of fun would end.

Some entire communities have been ruined by fatherlessness.

There are so many ways American culture, especially with regard to family, is screwed up that I couldn’t post them all. I’ll give one example: in America, somehow parents got the idea they were supposed to be their kids’ best friends. Kids end up seeing all adults as their peers.

Baby boomers bitch about the “everyone gets a trophy” generation, but who was giving them the trophies? When you start looking at this stuff in depth, it seems like the 60’s were the turning point in the american family.

I have several times recommended thorough investigations in the causes of and solutions for the breakdown of the family unit.

I will recommend a few again.

  1. The Garbage Generation: the Consequences of the Destruction of the Two-Parent Household by Dr. Daniel Amneus
  2. The New Politics of Sex: the Sexual Revolution, Civil Liberties, and the Growth of Governmental Power by Dr. Stephen Baskerville
  3. Taken into Custody: the War Against Fathers, Marriage, and the Family by Dr. Stephen Baskerville
  4. Sexual Utopia in Power: the Feminist Revolt Against Civilization by Dr. F. Roger Devlin

I also recommend the film Divorce Corp, which I watched some time ago, though I don’t recall any talk of solutions for this broken-home debacle.

I suspect some, maybe even many, men wouldn’t like some solutions because they would result in less available women to screw. Hence I said “the fun would end” in my previous post.

Moving on back to main topic.

Anyone have any theories as to why these shootings are an American phenomenon, besides broken homes? I’m not that worried about them specifically for my personal safety because the chances of me dying in one is low, but the increased prevalence is a symptom of a sick society.

I have become more concerned, vigilant, and aware of my surroundings because America is violent and degenerate generally.

IMO, the root of blame for the decay of the family started with the Boomers.
The pivot points were:

  1. The Vietnam War
  2. All In the Family

I was born in 1948. I saw it all come down.

The Greatest Generation (born 1901-1927) was the greatest generation by quite a bit.
