Does machine like lying leg curls or leg extensions in stretch position have any values for load stretching…I mean holding them at appropriate range of motion for 1-3 mins…
Some do, provided that you can reach the most lengthened position a muscle can reach while still being under load.
For example, a pec deck or hammer chest press machine can likely work.
A lying leg curl wouldn’t because it doesn’t reach a fully lengthened position of the hamstrings which require hinging at the hip, not merely extending the legs, and also because in the low position of a leg curl you don’t even have tension anymore (when the legs are extended, the plates you are lifting are back resting on the weight stack).
Leg extensions might work if you adjust the machine so that even in the lowest position you can physically reach, the plates your are lifting are not resting on the weight stack.
Alright thanks for the answer .it makes sense .it seems better just to keep using dumbbells and barbells instead
In most cases, it is
Yeah …on side note your concentrated loading book and advanced eternal warrior program is both great
