Been meaning to reply to this since I saw an article in my feed. My daughter plays soccer, and I watch women’s soccer.
I do not watch men’s soccer.
A lot of the debate revolves around revenue.

All this could be easily solved. Let the women go out on their own. “Give women an inch and they will take mile.” I’ve never seen a more true quote of wisdom in my life.
They have been subsidized for years by the mens program to now begin to complain about “equal pay”. Fuck it, let them branch off. Keep all the profits they make. give them a parachute, and off ya go. Let’s see how far they get.
Even with the women’s team doing really well the last few years it doesn’t mean anything from a business sense because the men’s earnings potential is sky high considering the global impact of the sport. Having a viable men’s national team is huge earnings potential.
We’re in a very dark place when entertainers can now say because their job is technically identical they deserve the same salary. This Is getting borderline crazy, you wouldn’t agree?

It will probably take 50 years for the US men to have a global impact. The women already have.

It is not getting borderline crazy. It is already ABSOLUTELY CRAZY. And getting worse.
Pretty soon Netflix will have to pay Iliza Shlesinger the same for a stand up show as they did Chris Rock, cause, you know, they’re doing the same job. Or else retards will throw a fit on twitter and cancel their subscription. Ridiculous.
Besides, same job my ass. I saw a few games. The male Sub-14 Liechenstein or Gribraltar’s boys team would mop the floor with these women.
The US ladies look levels above the rest of the competition for now. Another deserved World Cup win.
Proud of our England team we just fell short this time though.
The standard of football in this World Cup was much improved than that of 2015 and I have enjoyed watching the Women’s World Cup more than the men’s AFCON this year.
It’s not about how good they are, it’s about how much revenue they bring in.
I’m convinced. Females should not be allowed to play sports. Neither should 14 year old males since they would get easily beaten by an EPL team. In fact, only two players should be allowed to play at all: Messi and Ronaldo. Once they retire, Neymar can play with himself.

I heard they won. I had forgotten it was on, tbh. I only saw they won because all of the uber liberals on FB and Twitter are now crying about how much they make to kick a ball and drop the US flag on the ground while they celebrate.

Countries aren’t stopping, most people arent waving their little Made in China flags, people aren’t getting shitfaced watching that shitfest, the brits aren’t starting riots over those poorly played matches, and games like PES or FIFA do not feature those female players that should be payed as much as the men.

If women want to play sports, it’s their business. It doesn’t bother me. Maybe you are a frustrated athlete who envies them. Maybe you are lonely.
The fact they want more money doesn’t bother me. After all, we are not communists.
Here’s what actually happened in the UK.
- Plenty of people went to the pub to watch these games.
- Plenty of people had a drink and watched them at home too, the BBC showed every game live, I believe.
- There were loads of flags on view, particularly noticeable at the England games I thought. Not sure if they were made in China or not though but there were flags.
- FIFA 19 featured female international teams. You could buy copies of FIFA with Alex Morgan on the cover I believe, she often appears on the FIFA home screen when you start the game too.
