USA Women's Soccer World Cup

There’s nothing wrong with what I said nor what I posted considering there are many people echoing the same sentiment, including WOMEN, WOMEN THAT PLAYED THE SPORT.

It’s not my fault you want to join the cuck league of champions

If you could just bring what you mean a little closer to what you write we’d all be a little better off.

For example- if you want women to sit down and shut up, just say “I want women to just sit down and shut up.”.

You don’t have to post videos of athletic young 20 something Nordic men to let us know how you feel about women, but there you go, veering off into vids of blood engorged rhythmically pumping legs of athletic young men.

We get it.

If that’s what you took from the video, fine.

I won’t judge you. Go on youtube, you can find more.

Enjoy yourself

Likewise. What men do with each other behind closed doors, and on soccer fields is your thing and you’re welcome to it. No Judgement here.

But here you go again, turning a thread about women into a thread about men. It’s getting a little icky.

The only aspect of this thread that has to do with men is the fact that men are subsidizing this boring tournament and like everything else in life the women still aren’t satisfied. They want more. lollllll

Great opening post Jewbacca. Appreciate your geopolitical take and mostly agree with you on the soccer take. I do think the players could have toned down their celebrations a bit.

Regarding running up the score, there’s basically two ways of handling it when administering a beat down. One is to put in bench players. This gives them playing time and experience. It helps shake out the nerves for when they later play in more competitive matches. The second is to focus on certain aspects of the game they need to work on. I don’t know much about soccer but I read a post above about the team implementing an offensive formation. That is fine if the coach thinks that’s what they need to work on. It’s a good use of the situation.

Jesus F. Christ nailed on a cross , people take offense with everything these days. So they were celebrating when they scored a goal, in SOCCER, WHAT?? FOR SHAME!!!

Too bad, I greatly enjoyed watching Brazil get smashed and being taken down a notch, and I wished the Germans had never taken their foot off the gas. Bet they could have reached 10 goals easily.

I know, right, it’s ridiculous. Like Serena throwing a shitfit at the umpire , saying he would never do that to a man. Nowadays you’re sexist if you didn’t like that shitsandwich new Ghostbusters.
What the fuck is happening out there?

Yes them princesses don’t think or care about revenue.
They just think about equal pay for equal job.
Same thing with Hollywood actresses, even though people (man and women) care more about the male actors

You don’t see porn male performers bitching about equal pay, even though they have to work harder (literally and figuratively) in the business and get way less money.

It’s more about the celebration than running up the score.

At 9-0, a veteran defending champion doing this. This is disgraceful. I don’t care what sport, man, woman, teenager, it’s utterly ridiculous.

My coaches would’ve slapped me on the side of the head if I did this as a fucking kid. Try doing something this stupid in a Men’s beer league hockey game at 9-0.

Here is a professional woman that gets paid a pretty decent wage for a competition not many people give a fuck about doing this against a team filled with women with day jobs. No goddamn shame at all.

Once again, with no ratio of competition/celebration to pinpoint its location on the curve of this function, you have no basis for stating what is too much or too little celebration in relation to the competition.

Try to put it in standard form at least. Like x^n+a/y^n+b or something.

These arbitrary points that you seem to arrive at don’t make any sense in isolation.

I haven’t read the whole thread, however here is my 2 cents…

The celebrations were over the top. Fair enough, score as many goals as you can and celebrate each goal. Goal difference can often be a factor when progressing out of the group stages.

But to celebrate the 13th goal as if you had just scored an injury time winner in the final against your greatest rival, is downright embarrassing.

I understand there may be some cultural differences here to consider.

What’s really interesting to notice Is the fact that the usual Trump Beating Fox News crowd that would normally love this type of arrogant embarrassing behavior is actually turning on the USWNT because the most egregious of the celebrations was done by a pink haired bull dyke that refuses to stand in for the national anthem.

Aren’t Americans hilarious?

@greenboy : Im not really up to date with US politics

I’m just commentating from my perspective.

Note: I have played football (soccer) at a high level.
