Upper/Lower/Full Program

Does anyone have an upper/lower/full split program that they love? I’ve been following the Waterbury total body program linked below off and on (more on) for several years now. Right now I’m doing an upper/lower/full split that is inspired by the Waterbury program but I’m looking for something different once I finish this current cycle. (I switched from total body three times per week to upper/lower/full because I’m cycling 3 days per week with two of those days being hard intervals and so three lower body days on top of that was just too much for my 45 year old legs.)

I’d look at Tactical barbell. It’s a great program that is infinitely tailorable to other activities like cycling, CrossFit, etc…. I’d recommend books 1 and 2, which cover strength and conditioning, respectively, but also give great insight into ideas on how to implement it with other priorities. Along with 531 Forever, these are probably my favorite training books.

Thank you for this. I’ll give it a look. I may need to find substitutions or variations on the main lifts if it is SBD and OHP based.
