Updated Pulse Feast/Pulse Fast

Quick question pertaining to the above.
The new formula of MAG-10 what would be the new updated dose. And is it in scoops or servings. Please advise.

since i do this i’d be curious to know the actual recommendation.

Honestly I haven’t used the Pulse Feast in a long time and I’m not even sure if I used it with the new formulations. If I did I didn’t come up with a new scheme. Sorry if I’m not more helpful.

Now that I think about it, the only time I did something similar to the Pulse Feast with the new formulations was the last time I was in Colorado (when I shot the high pull video). It wasn’t a true Pulse Feast because I trained at 9:00 and sometimes a second time at 4:00. For 3 weeks I would basically:

Wake up at 7:30, have 1 MAG-10 serving (not scoop)

Leave for the HQ at 8:00

Have 2 PLAZMA at 8:30

Have 2 more PLAZMA during the workout

Post-workout I would have 2 MAG-10 right after the workout, 2 other MAG-10 about 45 minutes after the workout.

90-120 minutes after the workout I would have a FINIBAR

Then from 12 to 4 I would have 3-4 MAG-10 servings spread over the 4 hours

Then I’d have a large meal at 5 ish and normally a smaller one at about 7.

It wasn’t to get lean though as my weight went up from 218 to 228 (had a peak of 232 but that was after nightly FINIBAR “incident” :slight_smile: ) in 3 weeks.

is there a reason you use the FINiBAR over the MD bar 90-120 min PWO? or a reason you use the FINiBAR as a small snack opposed to the MD-bar?

also any reasons you pulsed MAG-10 so frequently from noon - 4pm? was this to get ready for your 2nd WO?

i use all these products and im trying to better understand your uses and reasons for them versus my uses and reasons.

also when using this large amount of supplements for carbs and protein needs, what did your 2 meals consist of?

I am just looking for the best idea to not worry about eating all the time, and how to best dose this out during the day. Eating breakfast and dinner are not hard but eating lunch and snacks are a tad tough from time to time. Just looking for ideas ty i sent you a pm

FINIBARs… honestly, the MD bars were being reformulated at the time and we didn’t have any available :wink: But FINIBARs are absorbed a tad fasted and my goal was to gain as much size and strength as possible at that time, so the extra carbs were welcome.

Regarding the frequent pulsing, I believe that the more often you pulse, without having a constantly elevated level of amino acids (you need the peaks AND valleys) the more anabolic you are. So I was basically trying to see how often I could pulse and get enhanced results. I found that personally I got increased benefits up to one pulse every 90 minutes.
