Any substitute for the machine lateral raise?

No access to the equipment.

Not really… you can do partial lateral raises with cables. But you don’t have to do all the supersets. You can pick some of them and also some of the supersets from the original growth factor shoulder article. Of start with a heavier press and add 2-3 supersets.

Thank you, sir.

CT this shoulder spec info is great, I’m saving it for a later time. Do max growth clusters have a place on the heavy pressing day or would it be too much additional stress for the weekly workload? Thank you very much.

Well, growth factor training isn’t really stressful in that it’s not based on creating muscle damage and wont fatigue the CNS either. It works mostly by increasing the release of local growth factors and increasing blood flow (loaded with nutrients) to the muscles. As such you can perform fairly intense methods on the heavy day.

Max growth clusters would thus likely work well on the heavy day.

I know this is an old post - but I read there were videos posted somewhere and I’m new to t-nation forums. Where can I find those?

Christian,

Wondering where I can see the videos you uploaded for this. I know it’s an older post but you reference videos and I’m unfamiliar with the forums.

Thanks

Jason

Not only you:) Can someone tell us, where can we find uploaded videos?

When the forum format changed the videos didnt transfer

Could you upload them once again in the near future please?

If you’re referring to the videos for the Growth Factor Shoulders workout, they’re embedded right in the article: Growth Factor Shoulder Training - T Nation Content - COMMUNITY - T NATION

Same for Growth Factor Chest: Growth Factor Chest Training - T Nation Content - COMMUNITY - T NATION

You can also find them on the T Nation Youtube channel.

This thread contained a whole new set of complexes Which were lost in the transition.

Hi coach. Is the new book still coming out this month and where can I buy it?

They’re on CT’s personal Youtube Channel, by searching ā€œshoulder width superset,ā€ and were uploaded around the time of this initial post.

Thanks alot man!!! I was looking for it on yt channel but somehow I missed it

Thinking about moving to specialization training after I finish my cut. Can you move directly from body part to body part or would a transitional period be appropriate? I’m thinking maybe 4 weeks of spec per body part, cycling from shoulders/traps, back(more rows and pull ups than trap work), chest, legs. Any feed back would be appreciated

Anyone know if these videos still exist/can link?

Probably not. They were on my personal youtube channel, which I deleted when I started my professional one.
