Upcoming Webinar Suggestion: Linking Neurotyping & OCTS system

Hi Coach,

I’ve been through all of your online courses now. I’ve seriously enjoyed them from start to finish and have gained a lot of new insights.

Trying to connect the dots between all of the different course materials, I was wondering if you might be interested in developing a webinar (or multiple webinars) on how to connect neurotyping and the OCTS for maximum performance, body composition and establishing lifetime client retention?

It’s a big mouthful but I can imagine many people who’ve been following your work on neurotyping and OCTS would be absolutely stoked to absorb the information shared on such a topic.

I’m especially interested in how you would apply the OCTS system depending on neurotype as well as the level (beginner, intermediate, advanced) and goal (hypertrophy, strength, power or a combination of all these goals in the case of athletic performance) of the neurotype you’re working with.

I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Actually the format I will be moving toward is the production of shorter, more specific, courses.

For example, in 2 weeks I will film on on maximizing power and fast-twitch fibers conversion and development (I also have an article coming up on the subject).

I want to produce more targeted courses that are 90-120 minutes long. I also want to completely reformat the neurotyping course (likely in several 90-120 minutes courses).

That’s great coach! I can only support the idea because shorter courses do make it easier to digest the information and hopefully will allow you to keep sharing detailed information if they are to be more specific.

I’m excited to learn the new developments you’ve made when you reformat the neurotyping series but I do hope you won’t take too much material out (if any).

Even though it is a beast of a series, I actually applauded the effort and attention to detail that was put into it. I even thought that sometimes it was necessary to fully understand what you were talking about.

So, will there perhaps be a specific hybrid course on neurotyping & OCTS: practical applications based on level and goal (or something like that) amongst those shorter, specific courses in the future? No pressure, you pick your own subjects off course. I just think it would be an extremely cool and usable topic (if there’s an audience for it).

There is nothing to take out. This is the cornerstone of my approach and the way I’ve been training athletes for 20 years. It is even described in my book “Theory and Application of Modern Strength and Power Methods” written something like 15 years ago and little have hanged, except more methods and a decrease in volume.

I do have more methods to add, many of which I had been doing for a long time but that are so unorthodox that I didn’t wan’t to go public with them, plus you need a progression to get to them and most will not to it.

That is reassuring to read. I meant to say that perhaps you would be inclined to leave out certain bits that aren’t deemed as important to you in general or the bits where you repeat certain parts again (which I actually think is a great teaching tool. You repeating certain portions of the course made it a lot easier to stick things into my head honestly).

I’m more curious about the stuff you’ll be putting in though (methods are cool but your developments on the neurosubtypes (like the actor, passionate, confident, type 3A (which is a total mystery to me) is what I’m really stoked about).

This is most definitely the case. It’s like you said: methods are cool but they come at a cost. Better to milk out the easier stuff as much as possible until you can’t progress anymore.

Thank you for answering my thread CT, always a pleasure.
