There’s nothing to ruin because there has yet to be a decent Punisher movie. It’s really painting a turd a different color again.
And there never will be until they go to an R rating.
Wait, this next one isn’t?
Pure Shit.[/quote]
I had to go check, but, yes, this next one is. I thought there was some debate about it earlier. At the very least it should more accurately depict who and what the Punisher is.
I have to admit I’m having problems with this actor, too. I thought the last guy – I can’t think of his name – looked more like Frank Castle.
EDIT: I just checked and the last one was R, too. I’ll have to watch it again. I’m not remembering it well.

When it comes to the Avengers EVERYBODY has been an Avenger. Even the Sandman (featured in Spidey 3) was an Avenger. If you have a some tights and funny name you could apply to the avengers. While it is true the Hulk was a founding member of the Avengers he pretty much told them to screw off his second day on the job. The Hulk spent more time quitting the defenders than he ever did than in the Avenger mansion.
Defenders now that would be a kick ass movie. Hulk, Silver Surfer, and Namor kicking the crap out of everybody.

I thought Spiderman still belongs to Sony? That is why it sucks. Marvel OWNS the rights to Iron Man and Hulk. That is why those movies were considerably better.
Fantastic Four and Spiderman were just billboard signs for random products while they destroyed some of Marvel’s best ideas.

Yeah, Spidey still belongs to Sony. Last I heard Raimi and Maguire were in talks to film a fourth and fifth film simultaneously starting in 2010. I guess they plan on filming both over a period of six months.
I guess they are negotiating with Maguire to pay him $50 million so that he’ll do both movies. He also gets a chunk of the profits and gets time off to play with his daughter every day.

Daniel Craig turned down the Thor job. Who’s next in line? Are we going to see HHH, Brad Pitt? I would actually like to see the acting debut of Mariuz! Maybe even Magnus… either strongman would be BAD ASS as Thor.
