Spoiler alert - I don’t suggest daily injections. Ever. Haha.
Can you expand from your point of view on daily injections? I have been considering it but I’m not quite convinced yet so I’d like to get your input. Currently I’m doing twice per week.
@magnumd
No one should do daily injections unless it’s a last resort. I tried literally everything first from dose to frequency. Most everyone does fine on once a week.
Any idea why my Total T would drop to 676 on 200mg test C a week?
@hardartery I wind up with a touch more than you on 200mg a week, which is why I need to take quite a bit more. I’ve spoken to several guys in the exact same boat as us.
@physioLojik it will be quite the conversation in that case! Looking forward to it!
Yeah, but one year ago it was 833 on a lower dose. E2 is down as well.
I agree, once a week is a sweet spot for me and a lot of guys I know. But thanks to you, I now will try 28g half inch as I’ve been using 23g 1 inch in my delts and hate it lol.
I wonder if you got another blood test done if it would be the same. Could just be that some days/weeks/months you process T more or less do to many factors
Probably going to a different lab Monday and see what they get.
Site of injection, purity of the substance at hand (from batch to batch), sub Q vs IM (go IM yeet, test isn’t formulated for sub Q shots in my opinion… aside from a new FDA approved preparation xyosted), hepatic functioning, thyroid output and more
What about test prop, tren/test ace, TNE and boldenone acetate… one could argue “these aren’t meant for TRT”… but I’d disagree, clearly trenbologne sandwhiches need to be wedged into every TRT protocol… 7000mg/wk, so inject 10ml per day
@hardartery ensure you are using the exact same lab to do the blood draw to make a comparison. You can see huge variances in results (like 30%!) between different labs. Different equipment, different lab tech, different technique, etc. To compare apples to apples, use the same lab.
I can safely say the best I ever felt on TRT was injecting 10mg Test Prop and 10mg Mast Prop everyday using insulin syringes.
SB
It’s Testex brand Test Cyp from the pharmacy. Same thing that I’ve been using for most of my TRT life. I do shallow IM in the quads.
I have used two different labs, but I think this is the same one that did my last Test levels. BUT, they appear to have changed equipment or something, as the results came in ng/mL this time instead of ng/dL. Going to the other lab on Monday anyway and see what they say before I play with it. My E2 appears to be well down as well.
@Physiolojik (Endocrinologist/250+lb Bodybuilder) is being interviewed by @Dbossa on his podcast in the near future. I would like to compile a list of questions related to TRT that we can ask him. Please make it something that he hasn’t already explained in detail since the time he has to answer is likely very limited.
IMPORTANT
Please put a NUMBER before your question. So if the most recent post is:
1) Can you explain your reasoning for titrating doses every couple weeks?
Then your question should be
2) blah blah blah?
Just look for the previous number and if someone posts before you finish your question just edit the number so it’s correct.
At the end I’ll compile the list of questions to this first post. Thank you guys!
1) Can you explain your reasoning for titrating doses every couple weeks and what results you have seen with your patients? Are there patients you don’t use it for?
- Can you confirm from patient blood tests or experience if boron lowers PSA, and If so, at what dosages do you see statistically significant changes?
- Can everyone find relief from once a week protocols, or do multi day protocols have there place?
