Yup. I’m a professional - Kids: don’t try this at home without adult supervision.

All done. Gonna try and get back in it every other day. This style of lifting made me the strongest with the least amount of pain or soreness so I’m going to stick with it, rotating the lifts through 4 sessions and every third session being a higher-rep day. 4th session will be deadlifts and incline presses instead of squats and overhead.
Found a gym in Virginia doing free 3-day passes near my hotel for MW. I’ll have to skip Friday since I’ll be in class or in flight that day. I’ll be heading to the office (YAY!) the next Monday. Lots o’ reading to do between now and then, so’s I can bone up on the almost-immediate database migration what needs doing. Been a while since I’ve done one.
I’ve been long absent. Glad to hear things are starting to get cool.
so, I am assuming that you got that job offer letter, since it sounds like you are doing regular work again. Good on ya.
I have found that while travelling, if you want to lift its gonna cost you $10/day, and that’s all there is to it. I have also found that its really hard to find a place that allows chalk and weight dropping. On the other hand, if you’re not going to be living there, its a temporary gym and who cares if they kick you out.
congrats on the new gig.
Why would you close a gym on July 4th? That makes just no sense.

Left adductor wouldn’t loosen up, kept threatening to cinch up so I stayed low on squats. It’s a nice gym here. Only one power cage, but it looks like no one uses it anyway. Tuesday is bench night, apparently.

Yes, yes I am. Particularly so, since it seems we are being evaluated on our enthusiasm and attention during the orientation.

it is weird, isn’t it. i always think that gyms should be more like other recreational activities where the expectation is that MORE people are likely to want to engage in them on stat days.
may your squat rack remain vacated.
that looks like a big load of work for one day.

It was indeed. 3rd session is marked as a volume day so that’s what I dood.
work hard, eat lots. It’s a rough trade off, but you do it so well. Great to see you are still working hard and reaping the benifits. solid work!

My gym was open half day on the 4th, and EVERYONE was there. Is that hardcore or what?
