I am 24 years old, 6’1-6’2, 215 lbs., and 24% body fat. I am trying to get back into the shape i was in 6 years ago when I was wrestling and playing football, but I am not 100% sure the types of ratios of food I should eat.
What percentage of my BMR should I eat? How much of my calories should come from carbs? fats? proteins? I would greatly appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. I would like to have a six pack again by the end of the year.
Try not to focus on the details before building the foundation. (ala Berardi).
I’d suggest reading his articles on here and/or purchasing his Precision Nutrition product. Expensive, but well worth the price.
I was actually just looking at that, I need to wait a few weeks until I know what my new address is gonna be(I move all over USA with work) but as soon as I find that out I will be ordering it. Thanks for the advice
No problem man. I know I debated buying it for a long time, but knowing what I know now I would pay twice the price.
My biggest problem with training in general is my travel, from what I understand I will be outside Atlanta for at least a year, so that will help, but in the past few months I have been in KY(my home sweet home), SC, AL, GA, TN, and FL currently. Pain in the ass. Tough finding someone to train with as well
