Unrack Yourself or Hand Off?

I train alone so no handoffs in training or meets.

I always unrack myself. Wouldn’t feel right otherwise.

Unrack myself. I train alone most of the time, so i guess its just what im used to.

I personally prefer a hand off, I have found that with my set up I tighten up my back much more to the point of almost cramping. Sometimes I do even cramp up. I personally think that if you get a really really good spot/awesome training partner then it is definatily the way to go. Another thing that I don’t like about unracking it my self is my wrist fall out of line from my forearms, giving less tricep drive. I’m no pro bencher, but this is just what I have experienced in my time lifting.
