Legs focus (also maybe death focus idk)

40 min EMOM
Odd mins 1/3/5 etc. Was 5x squat
Even mins alternated between
15 row cal and 15 toe to bar

100 squats, 150 cal and 150 toe to bar

Had to sub rowing for sumo deadlift high pulls as the rowers were taken
Used 24kg KBs and it was probably slightly more effort

Averaged 30 to 40 seconds rest between each station. Big mental effort

I really like what you are doing in here. Short and sweet. Pure killing mode for a blast and burn. I’m watching brother. I like the simple focus super/giant set. This is like GVT turned up a notch

Yeah man spot on! I was listening to a podcast by the guy who wrote this program and it comes from IWT (interval weight training) which was a precursor to Gym Jones 300 workout/CrossFit movement, combined with GVT
Always a main compound focus and some sessions ‘harder’ than others
But I feel fucking great to be completely honest. I feel like a wrecking ball

Ah I see, it’s the official CrossFit substitute when you don’t have a rower. Kinda makes sense. It was that or burpees and 150 sounded disgusting

God damn today was fun

10 rounds of
10 push jerk
10 burpees
1 min rest
Add weight each round of push jerks
Starting at 50% strict press 1RM
Managed straight sets until sets 8/9&10 when I broke up the reps
Then
5 rounds of
20 db lat raise left
20 db lat raise right
1 min rest
Start super light and increase each set with strict form. Massive pump.
Then
100 heavy ass db shrugs
I used straps and the 50kg dbs and just went at it

Hell of a pump in my shoulders, traps, triceps and lungs today
