Legs pull focus this morning

Part 1: emomx10
10 deadlifts with 100kg
After 5 minutes they become deficit pulls from a 20kg plate…rounds 8-10 were tough

Rest 5

Part 2:
100x20" box step ups w 40kg barbell

Rest 5

Part 3: emomx12
Odd minutes: 20kb swings
Even minutes: 20 wall balls

Man, that was a lot of work.
My legs, glutes, traps, entire back were so pumped up it was crazy
I tried to get a good leg pic this morning but there was zero separation at all haha

I think you have to let them recover and get the inflammation out in order to see much definition.

Agreed

So today is going to be my last super low cal day, I’ll carb up tomorrow and reduce water intake towards the end of the day and either sauna or Epsom salt bath to draw anything else out. Looking forward to seeing my weight change tomorrow morning vs carbed up lol.
I also have a feeling that my performance next week is going to skyrocket…just feel it in my bones

One thing about doing this cut while battling my hip is that I haven’t been able to squat out deadlift much. I think that’s kept me from noticing any dip in performance.

I feel like my OHP sucks but upon further review I’m only a few pounds behind where I was last March when I ran SGSS the first time.

Yeah
I think because I train super early (5am)
I’m as fresh as I could possibly get. I don’t think I could train at night on this cut, without significant compromise

Being tall isn’t great for lifting, but I’m glad I’m a larger person so I can eat more. I think the lowest I’ve gone is 2300 calories and that was to try to lose 2 lbs per week.

I’m not certain my stomach or appetite would be any smaller if I was shorter.

I still have it in my head that I should be able to have this level of leanness but be like 15 lbs heavier. I feel like I’ve worked pretty hard over the years but this is probably the best I’ve looked. It’s also the lightest I’ve allowed myself to be since high school.

Final weight 75.5kg
Pretty sure my starting weight was 82kg ish so I have dropped waaay more than I thought.
I definitely am not stage ready, but I feel like I’m around 4 weeks of dieting from there and I just don’t have the mental focus to get there. But I am very happy with this result.
These are my pre-carb up END photos. Hopefully I don’t fuck up my carbs and end up looking even better lol
My hams have for sure grown

Something about that side chest pose really shows everything off!

And how are you quads so darn big?

Haha thanks brother! My one genetic strength

The carbs have been eaten, the water restricted and the Epsom bath awaits…let’s see how tomorrow looks!

Looking great buddy! Killed it. A few high carb days should fill you out and tighten you up even more.

I changed my mind, put your legs away.
