Well I’ve been using it like a weekly log, so instead of just giving me a 12 week written program in advance it adjusts once I log each day. I upload videos too and it analyses bar bath/speed etc and gives feedback. We were going to Shoot for a deload this week, however week 5 bar speed and rep maxes moved so well it pushed it out one. Given my squatting and deadlifting this week it was the right call!
I still give it plenty of feedback and push it in the right direction, but we have conversations about strategy and we both agreed to skip barbells entirely next week for the deload which was kinda cool
Thats awesome. I use it a heap at work esp the deep research function but its pretty powerful. Only as good as its prompts though so i feel whatever you fed it to begin with has been worthwhile.
Not a fantastic session coming off night shift and with a poor sleep. Should have just dialed it back but wanted to pull a heavy triple, however on the first rep of 225kg I just knew it wasn’t there today so settled for a single. Usual assistance afterwards.
Still that’s the heaviest weight I’ve ever pulled from the floor conventional definitely more in the tank on a good night sleep
5 plates for a triple? You suck. I remember when I was trying to do that and had a similar day. I did three singles and as the day went on, and then the next day, my back did it’s usual angry thing and got all out of alignment. That was the last time I pulled 5 plates and it was well over two years ago. Good call on “settling” for a single.
Chat GPT experiment was fun, although I found it started to lose its mind and get confused after the first strength block. When it was trying to mix modalities and transition to a different phase it needed a lot of prompting to keep it on track.
I got re-inspired last night and bought tactical barbell 3rd edition, plus tactical barbell 2 conditioning ($20 total for both, pretty rad) and I’m going to run that again.
I’ll be doing Operator IA, which suits my work schedule to a tee. No ‘weeks’ just 10 strength sessions per cycle, with one or two days in between for rest or conditioning.
