So I’ve missed 2x workouts this week, one lower body and one run. Not too fussed as balancing night shift fatigue is more important than lifting weights.
Back at it today, good lifting all round. Again, good mind muscle connection while still pushing weights forward

Seven nights in a row is tough. If possible, it’s best to plan your toughest leg session on your last work day or first day off so you’re not sore and lethargic on duty. There’s no way to do that with your schedule. You almost have to adopt a maintenance mentality during those phases. You don’t have to shut it down but you might want to mean towards stimulation instead of annihilation.

Lucky for you, you’re in great shape so you can still train pretty hard and not be crushed the next day.

5x100/100

Went 24:40 which I was happy with. I don’t think I’ve ever run a sub 25 5km before

Then did 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 chins and pause pushups

Ye pretty good. Vic gyms recently opened again metro and regional so got in a few sessions with the machines and DBs that I’ve been missing.

I’d expect to see pockets popping up across the country sporadically for the next six to nine months while expats come home. Then again once OS students. Just part of the game
