Fun stuff
When I first started working out, leg day always ended with a leg press pyramid, doing 10 reps and adding a plate on each side until you failed, and upon failure you just did a max rep strip set back down to one plate.
I had a few different friends to workout with, so you could just hold the weights in the near locked-out position without racking it while they stripped the weight. Upon finishing the last set it was customary to immediately try to stand up and walk.
After wobbling around for a bit, it was not uncommon to be shoved randomly, just to see if you’d fall over. My most frequent workout buddy had 3 older brothers, and when we went back to his house after leg day, they’d see us hobbling up to the door and you’d walk in to a combination of being pushed around like a pinball and having jabs thrown at your thighs.
Your buddies are assholes haha
Immediately feeling that in my lats. Had a good stretch after the rest pause too
How’s work going big fella?
Busy my friend, but I’m greatful that through all this madness I’ve been consistently able to work. Certainly gave a new perspective to job security.
I bloody love it though. Such a mix of jobs all the time
Good to hear and I deff know what you mean about being able to work. I work in warehousing which is far from glamorous but suddenly realised how important it is when lock down happened and we were one of only a few industries still able to work.
Do you have to work shifts ?? How you finding that?
