I was doing warm up jumps in 20kg increments and from 160 I just stripped the 10s and threw on the big wheels lol
Didn’t look at the book until it was time for exercise number two and there it was lol

Shoulders were cooked at the push press. I think my lack of shoulder strength is one of my big limiting factors for overhead (jerk/press/push etc)
Oh well, keep grinding.

Did some squat jerks with super light weight. I think this will be better for me than split

Really good thanks mate! Love my job, so happy I chose this path and I don’t have to worry about work in these times, I’m getting married in a few weeks to the woman I love, and to top it off I’m healthy. Nothing to complain about my man!

I am good too. Work is a little stressful at the moment. With over 300 staff onsite each day the potential for COVID cases is pretty high and all the changing government rules eats up a lot of my time. Kids are great and wifey is coping as well as the rest of us given the circumstances. Training is still chugging along nicely, I seem to keep getting stronger even though it’s in my own slow way. I have nothing to complain about, life is still good.

Did Mondays workout today as I’ll be on a 12 hour shift

It’s a de-load-ish type before a test Thursday for the Olys

  1. Muscle snatch 2x3
  2. Tall snatch 2x3
  3. Snatch 2x2 at 60kg (crisp)
  4. Muscle clean and press 2x3
  5. Tall clean push press 2x3
  6. Clean and jerk 2x2 at 75kg
  7. I did a few clean singles up to 2 at 100kg
    Best they have ever felt positionally

@Frank_C you’ll be pleased to know they were actually jerks too! I have also bailed on squat jerks as I nearly died lol

Tidying up my diet too. I don’t think I’m built for bulking tbh, I get more sleepy than anything.

Carb cycling always works well for me and keeps cravings in check. I don’t need ab veins again but some semblance of leanness

Just add more caffeine and carry on bulking!

I’ve always done split jerks (the 50 or so times I’ve done jerks). Yesterday was an exception with DT. I couldn’t be bothered to move any more than necessary.
