Got to train by myself outside in the rain today. It was awesome
1 tyre flip
1 pushup, 1 squat
1 flip
2 pushup, 2 squat etc.
25 flips across the car park then started working back down, after round 20 someone joined me so we did 2 flips and dropped the reps by 2. Eventually we got told to stop when the lightening closed in

495 squats and pushups total.
Fuck that was fun
The SWAT guys will love you. One of the reasons I haven’t tried to be on SWAT is the part where they suffer for the sake of suffering (he’ll day). I don’t get that stuff. I also can’t shoot well enough and don’t care about being an operator. I’ve found my place doing the uncool stuff but I enjoy it.
You’re doing actual policing. To me, that’s very cool. I can’t wait to do it all, from the hands on arrest, to the follow up interviews, paperwork…all of it
Murph #1
Bodyweight only
34:56
Did 10 rounds of 10/20/30
Squats were a challenge toward the end doing it that way but I couldn’t be fucked doing 20 rounds haha
Second mile was waaay slower. Might hold off on adding the weight vest for a bit
Yeah I’ve got a cheap one that’s made with what feels like wetsuit material. Bouncy as all hell.
I think I’ll do 10 days bodyweight
10 days with the vest for push/pull/squat only
And then see how I go Rx for the final ten
One day I want to do it without partitioning it
100 pulls
Then
200 pushups
Then
300 squats
You’re sick little puppy.
I just tried to list the reasons not to do murph, but got out of characters on the post. So deleted it.
Good luck on the Murph challenge. And the academy.
SWAT is awesome, those dudes are freaking strong and very disciplined.
But as @Frank_C I like what I’m doing, and when I was younger I couldn’t care training for that stuff.
