Unimpressive T-Cell Alpha, My Results

Man the last one was from about a year ago, but it was when I was cutting to 185 for a fight…was lean but depleted. This one is just where I am now/normally…These pics have been up in my profile for a few months now.

Thanks though
You cut to 185 from 225? What’s that like?

It feels kind of like raw dogging Oprah and already knowing she has the HIV and genital warts…Yep that is just about how it feels…

EDIT: it also used to take me more than 2 months to do so…

It prevents you from seeing their posts. I have had Headhunter on COWARDICE for months now.
Well, I actually wanted to know what your process was like. From your profile, it doesn’t seem like you get too fat between fights so what did you cut? HOW did you manage to cut that much is what I should be asking.

I don’t loose much fat, in all honesty I just kind of shrink all over from calorie deficit…

I’ll go from normal diet, to
Upping protein and cut out starchy carbs in the afternoon,
Then cut starchy carbs all together
then just protein and vegetables and fish oil
then almost entirely keto
then dehydrate anything that needs to go

It isn’t that rare for guys to cut that much weight over that long of a period of time…Hell Kroc cut almost that much in like 24 hours like last month…

Yeah, I know Anderson Silva cuts from around 220 but he’s a lot fatter than you. Kroc is around 260 now, while you’re 225, so you’re cutting a higher percentage. You’re different animals =)

Are you planning on fighting at 185 for much longer? That’s a tough cut.

Nah, I actually found out a few months ago (it’s all in my log) that I have a tumor on my Pituitary gland, so I am out of fighting until further notice…it is what it is…

And to be honest the only reason why I cut that much in the first place is because I am pretty short for a 205’er and I have t-rex arms…good for benching, bad for boxing…

now I can’t even watch it anymore because it is depressing for me…But things change so now I am focusing more on lifting again…

That really stinks. I’ll have to read your log. Hey, Rashad Evans is 5’11", but he doesn’t have dwarf arms like yours =)

Well, I’m sure you’ll find something to change this into a blessing. Best of luck with your lifting. You wouldn’t do too shabby as a raw powerlifter.

Sure, I look like shit and didn’t achieve even half of my goal, but I’m making steady and visible progress (IMO).

Yeah, that’s progress, but man…five years? I hope you’ve got more to show for it in five more years.

I will! I made many mistakes, I learned my lesson. I want to be huge for my 40th birthday!

How does one go five whole years making progress that minimal without changing anything to solve that problem?

5 years? You are now in your late 30’s. It is going to be significantly harder trying to make up the time you lost than it would have been even when you started.

This right here is why I am against this overly lax attitude when it comes to how most here approach their training.

These authors give you all an excuse by designing this shit to match the goals of people who really aren’t trying to get anywhere but want to feel like they are apart of something.

Some of you should complain less about the few people in that forum who aren’t progressing and spend more time reading from those who make the rest of you look like you don’t even train.
lol
Man, do you know where I came from?

Before:

Height: 6’ (181.5 cm)
Weight: 140-145 Ibs

Today:

Height: same
Weight: 185 Ibs

So 45 Ibs in 5 years. No that much, I admit I could have done a better job, and I’m far from being satisfied, but heck, I’m not the worst case around!

I know some of you guys can easily add at least 100 Ibs of pure muscle mass in only 1 or 2 years (just like Artem did…) I’m also aware X was my size after only 3 months of training…Congrats!

Edit: By the way, when I was 140 Ibs for 6’ tall, my little bro was 160 Ibs for 5’10 (177 cm) at a similar bodyfat than me. Was he more muscular at that time? No, he was skinny but got a thicker frame (bigger joints, thick waist…) This means if my bro had lifted weight and had grown as much muscle as I did he would weigh at least 200 Ibs and 2 inches shorter than me!

Dude, stop justifying/rationalizing your progress. Any way you wanna slice it, 9 pounds a year (in your first 5 years of training!) is not good enough.

Dude, stop justifying/rationalizing your lack of progress. Any way you wanna slice it, 8 pounds/year (in your first 5 years of training!) just isn’t good enough.

For what it’s worth, my post was not about how much the T-Cell sucks, nor was it about trying to get invited in. I don’t think it sucks, I think that it’s a great idea and that nearly everything that’s posted in there is at least worth a look, and a lot of the threads are full of really interesting, useful information. The threads about some of the largest members are really compelling, to me, and I’m glad the cell exists.

As far as getting an invitation, yeah it’s cool to be a part of it I’m planning to contribute positively as well as I can, but I wasn’t just trying to make myself look good in comparison to other people.

The only thing I wanted from this was an explanation. I wanted to know why there were mediocre people putting their shortcomings on display in an otherwise good section. Professor X wanted to bring something new and interesting into the forum, and he thought these kids had potential. That makes sense. They didn’t perform as expected. As far as I’m concerned, that satisfies my question, and there never really needed to be further discussion. It’s not a bad forum, it’s still the best place for serious, quality information.

LOL.

I was 150lbs when I started. I had beat your gains by the second year hitting 190lbs. You progress sucks any way you slice it and anyone truly serious would not have waited 5 whole years to do something about that.

I am not even saying everyone should make the same progress, but trying to justify your half a decade progress like this is ridiculous. You basically filled out to NORMAL for your height whereas you were UNDERWEIGHT in the first place. That is not that damn spectacular for a grown man who considers himself a weight lifter. Most people should be able to go from UNDERWEIGHT to NORMAL within a year unless they simply lack the genetics for any significant muscle growth.

I love when my posts disappear.

some of the people here act like its the bodybuilders stonemasons or something. its arguably the most laughable forum on the whole site. at the risk of an endless amount of Forum Thugs jumping on my back lets delve a little deeper:

 • we have a couple of guys who sound like THEY DO NOT EVEN TRAIN! shouldnt that be one of the criteria? that you have to go to the gym at least once a month but if you got like shit to do then maybe every 6 weeks?

-there are two REGULAR guys who post who are not well developed, they are just fat. Sky Nett claims to be “bulking” and has been for about 20 years and just looks like a total slob. thats not even being insulting, he really does just look like a slob. Jehovasfitness probably spends $2000 dollars on supplements a month and doesnt look like he trains. i get the impression he is waiting for Biotest to release a $1000 bottle of “TRAINING JUICE” which he can drink so as to avoid even having to step foot into a gym. he is obsessed with every supplement out there and seems to have zero idea what he is doing.

-Artem is a clueless child who has made himself grossly obese. someone who has gained such a ridiculous amount of fat in a single year it is almost not believable. yet he is praised like it was some kind of small mistake. as if you can accidently wake up one morning 100lbs overweight. people seem unaware of just how much one hundred pounds is. he didnt gain a little extra chub. he gained SEVENTY TO EIGHTY POUNDS OF PURE FAT in a very very small time frame. in all seriousness how is that possible? what the fuck was in all that milk he drank?

-by far the biggest moron is mattheus. according to his own fucking profile he has only trained FOR A SINGLE MONTH! lol WTF? how can he possibly be in there? whoever invited him should be kicked out alongside him. Mattheus has made a diet thread in which the first meal is protein AND ICECREAM. i mean seriously, its like a parody of bodybuilding where people dont want to gain muscle they want to gain lard.

-there are other guys who are total idiots as well.

now for all you Forum Thugs who are going to flame me and call me out and all your other e-thug BS, yes i have put my flame suit on and yes i am wearing a gumshield. every single thing in this post is 100% true and im willing to defend it. i also accept that the general level of reading comprehension here is that of a pre- school child so no doubt il have to explain the couple of threads i have made for the millionth time as well.
I was against he forum initially for reasons such as this. I was actually a member of the Dog Pound back in 2002 and saw that accomplish nothing. I don’t knoww hay they thought it would be different.

There was a thread recently where everyone wanted to know where many long time members went. I criticized the supplement industry during that thread, including Biotest. T.C mocked me once and changed his tune when I told him who I was, what I did, and who I worked with.

Give you a hint, serious lifters make fun of the supplement industry and the average forum member. Most people need to train, eat well, and spend less time on the net.

Honestly, if someone that UNDERweight to start with didn’t add 20lbs in his first year or more, he was doing something very wrong and apparently didn’t even notice it for half a decade.
