The liquor bottle has replaced underwater weighing, caliper readings, DEXA and the common shoe as the gold standard of bodyfat analysis.

You look pretty honest, I’ll take your word for it!
Yes, that’s what I have taken away from it too. That picture was perplexing and hilarious all at once.

I’m confused, did you take that as an insult? I was just stating a scientific fact.

Yeah I saw your pics, great conditioning. The first pic is from 3 years before I was born!

Sure, I look like shit and didn’t achieve even half of my goal, but I’m making steady and visible progress (IMO).

Yeah, that’s progress, but man…five years? I hope you’ve got more to show for it in five more years.

I will! I made many mistakes, I learned my lesson. I want to be huge for my 40th birthday!

How does one go five whole years making progress that minimal without changing anything to solve that problem?

5 years? You are now in your late 30’s. It is going to be significantly harder trying to make up the time you lost than it would have been even when you started.

This right here is why I am against this overly lax attitude when it comes to how most here approach their training.

These authors give you all an excuse by designing this shit to match the goals of people who really aren’t trying to get anywhere but want to feel like they are apart of something.

Some of you should complain less about the few people in that forum who aren’t progressing and spend more time reading from those who make the rest of you look like you don’t even train.
the authors and the site arent morons… they are appealing to the bigger market and making the cheddar.

Why would they write for the minority and guys who know what they are doing, when they can write for newbs and make them buy like 10 of their products at once. Just look around this site, every article has some new amazing workout program followed by the same exact reasoning of why you need 500 Biotest products to make it effective. And people eat that shit up.

To take it a step further, who the fuck cares if you cant post in a special forum on the internet? Are the guys not making progress on the internet slowing you down? Are you really that upset you arent part of it, and if you arent whats the point of even wasting your own time worrying about it? People try to belong way too much these days.

No shit. That makes a thread calling out the people in the T-Cell for not all being ready to hit a professional stage that much more suspect seeing as how most here barely look like they’ve ever lifted a weight.

Again, I am well aware of this. That doesn’t erase the shock of seeing people like some who originally were bitching in this thread who look like they do. This thread did nothing but cement the idea that this site attracts people who do NOT make progress but sit around flapping their gums all day as if they really work out seriously.

It’s a joke.

On that note, we wouldn’t even need the “special forum” if this site didn’t attract people who just take up space in the gym more than anyone else.

So, You’re saying he’s a functional guy…
Though I guess he could also be making the case for very specific bodypart training too. ;')

Good choice! Good quality flavoured protein actually tastes great, you’ll enjoy the shake instead of gagging on it.

But you should still be trying to get at least 70% of your protein from Solid food if you can.

Don’t worry i only get about 30 grams of protein a day from my shake

Damn dude! You can have more then that. I have 75g just in my pre-bed shake.

Have you noticed there are people here with thousands of posts and ALL of them are in the POW, SAMA, and “Get A Life” forums? These people have never once talked about asked about or contributed anything about actual training. I find these people to be even more odd then the people who talk about training alot but don’t look like they lift.

I mean why come to a bodybuilding website if your gonna talk about sex and politics 100% of the time?

What is the purpose of T-Cell Alpha? I had an invite some time ago but never followed up.

From some of the comments I’m seeing I’m wondering where the maturity is.

Best,
DH

Mind if i ask how you get so much protein in there my protein only has 20 grams a scoop plus 10 grams of protein for the cup of skim milk.

… Put 3 scoops?

The blender goes 3/4 full from one scoop with a cup of milk. For every additional scoop i would have to add another cup of milk, and i already tried adding more then one scoop on a single cup of milk…put it this way it felt like i was drinking white Pepto-Bismol.

Not really an issue anyway though i manage to get the rest from food just fine.

I use a casein protein which has 25g of protein per 30g scoop. I use 3 scoops with 450ml water. I also add some other things, but that’s not relevant here.

I admit I had a huge WTF moment when I saw that thread.
No joke – I dont know when the T-Cell went from experienced people to kids who have been lifting for 6 months (or trying to lift). I used to read it a lot more and post occasionally, but those days are coming to an end.

So you can spend more time in the bodybuilding forum? Regardless of the few people who were invited to the T-Cell who shouldn’t have been, it’s still a huge upgrade compared to what goes on in this forum on a daily basis.

We didn’t invite ourselves in.

You’re telling me that one scoop of protein powder and ONE cup of skim milk fills your blender up 75% of the way?!

How tiny is your blender?

THIS is what the forums have come to?! Discussing the intricacies of obtaining protein shakes which contain more than 30 grams of protein?!

For fuck’s sake this is ridiculous.

Come on now… Alot of us don’t even use milk. Two or three scoops with some water is all I use. Sometimes you gotta eat/drink things you don’t enjoy.

The fact that you and others post OCCASIONALLY is WHY other people were added.

Somehow this concept seems out of grasp for some of you. If people with experience don’t post very often, they might as well not be in it.
