Unimpressive T-Cell Alpha, My Results
CrewPierce wrote:
Ok so was this thread really 9 pages worth of new people trying to get invited into the T-cell? Couldn’t they just have PM’ed someone instead of starting a 9 page bitch a thon?
It started out good, with Stringers post then went downhill with people wanting to join, then went even further downhill when Prof. X lost the plot, then went even further downhill with the quasi homo love in between some members.

And now hopefully it has reached the end.

If you are up for it, I’m interested in hearing about your training, diet, contest prep, and anything else you’d like to share. Lets talk about what we all are really on here for. It might actually be interesting!
That’s quite impossible, no sooner will 3 posts be made some “functional” guy or some guy who thinks bodybuilders are disgusting and the thread will desend into choas.

Theres 3 threads left worth typing in that seem to be hi-jack free.

BrotherHood of Iron Thread
DC Training Thread (even if your not Dcing no idiots in it)
Kuz’s 5/3/1 Thread

Anything else but those have fun with the above people.

And gratz on your arm size

Much better.

Or this.

9 pages… anyone wanna summarize?

The liquor bottle has replaced underwater weighing, caliper readings, DEXA and the common shoe as the gold standard of bodyfat analysis.

The world is filled with assholes, and some of them lifts weights.

“I’m better than you!”

“Nah-hah”

“Uh-uh”

Now, see. That was way better than my summarization.

Asshole :stuck_out_tongue:

You look pretty honest, I’ll take your word for it!

I started my training in a hardcore gym called Oates gym and had a great variety of people and some were very comical and some very serious and successful in BB. Everyday had someone spouting off about how great they or their buddy was going to do in the next BB show.

I would hear about their training and diet ideas with delusions of grandeur to only hear an excuse why they didn’t show up for the show or why they didn’t place. Most had no potential to be a BB, but you know what, those days were the best days of my training. It didn’t matter. I made a lot of friends and the gym was ALIVE.

We han clowns, wannabes, regular Joes, powerlifters, BB, and of course girls. It was very entertaining but still a great training enviornment. My point of this post is that if you are reading this site then you should expect some real advice from a few successful people and you will see some BS from others. It is just like gym talk between sets or a protein drink.

We should respect each other but have thick skin. Forums are not really much different then the real gym except that you cannot see anyone face to face or watch them really training. I would like to see more pics in member’s profiles so I can see what they look like as they are giving out their training ideas. So far I am impressed to some of the pics that go along with some of the BIG talk.
Off topic, but your bicep pick reminds me of Joe Bucci. Some of the younger guys might not know who that is though. Peaks like that are pretty rare.

And finally ending my involvement in this thread, more summary from Tate:

When everyone else started to grow taller at 12-14 my biceps grew instead. Don’t do much more than regular DB curls.

Little gyno there Doh.
No, just fat in the chest area. I had pubertal gyno removed from my other nipple, which is why it looks different than my puffy one.

Stringer- Obviously you are an old poster who came back to bust this place up. Your avatar even slyly points to your anti-establishment position. Why not settle down and talk some training, instead of all this stuff about the operations of the forum? We are here to talk about training, not talk about the forum that talks about the training. We understand things are messed up in your mind, but it ain’t changing anytime soon.

look man enough with all the quasi pyscho analysis BS. your assumptions are all incorrect.

go through my posts. i do talk training and have done in the combat, strength and steroids forums. as well as this same forum. i did not make this thread and am merely commenting on it, like you yourself are.

one thing i am in agreement with you over is that we are here to talk training.

so modok, serious question, how big are your arms cos they look huge. 19s?

ive read that you have smallish wrists and maybe therefore not the greatest genetics. did you have any major sticking points along the road to getting those big arms and if so, what was your way of getting around it? massive eating, or a specific training approach?

hopefully you reply to my honest question and we can maybe turn this thread into something productive for the board.

Apologies if I’ve missed your posts in the other threads. But, why do you come off as so mad in your recent posts? I just don’t understand these threads which have nothing to do with anything but the forum itself.

I guess the arms are around 20 give or take. Last time I wrapped them was a couple years ago when I was dieted completely down and they were a shade over 19. The sticking points I’ve encountered really have to do with the small bone structure I have. I’ve had stress fractures twice due to curling too much weight with a straight bar, so its been dumbells only for the bis for a while. Besides that its just progressive overload and consistency. That will take you as far as you can go really.

And work in a pharmacy.

Kidding, kidding…

Ah yes…because being a pharmacist allows you to take scheduled drugs like M and Ms. There is absolutely no paperwork or oversight to it. Just grab what you want. Its freakin’ fantastic. I’m stoned on Oxycontin right now, actually.

Well, what DO you do when some substance is a little light compared to the inventory sheets?

It is where guys say the following over and over again: Eat like a pregnant elephant and lift. Its also known as ‘The Rocket Science’ forum.

I was the same way, mine just didn’t have that shape. I don’t think Bucci was ever competative at high level but he made a ton of money in adds for all the muscle mags. If I were you that would be something I’d consider.

Looks like your tendons have high insertion points.

Sure, I look like shit and didn’t achieve even half of my goal, but I’m making steady and visible progress (IMO).

Yeah, that’s progress, but man…five years? I hope you’ve got more to show for it in five more years.

I will! I made many mistakes, I learned my lesson. I want to be huge for my 40th birthday!
How does one go five whole years making progress that minimal without changing anything to solve that problem?

5 years? You are now in your late 30’s. It is going to be significantly harder trying to make up the time you lost than it would have been even when you started.

This right here is why I am against this overly lax attitude when it comes to how most here approach their training.

These authors give you all an excuse by designing this shit to match the goals of people who really aren’t trying to get anywhere but want to feel like they are apart of something.

Some of you should complain less about the few people in that forum who aren’t progressing and spend more time reading from those who make the rest of you look like you don’t even train.
