Quick update:
That’s me on Friday morning, shortly before we headed out for vacation while the kids are on spring break.
I weighed in at 198.3 lbs, which is down 13.2 lbs since the first of the year and the start of T-ransformation 2026, and down 21.3 lbs since the start of God Sven is a Beast in early October.
Speaking of God Sven is a Beast, I set 4 rep PRs in the last week of the second anchor, most of which I hadn’t touched since 2022 or 2023. It was a kick-ass template, and I really enjoyed it, despite being quite a bit longer than more typical 5/3/1 leader-anchor cycles. I finished out that template and did 5 days of the 10K Swing Challenge kettlebell workouts for 2500 swings before vacation, just because Dan John’s workouts are never a bad idea.
I’m not sure what’s next, as my work and travel schedule will be weird for a few weeks after we return, but I’m leaning toward Full Body BBB: The higher rep work is less distasteful now than when I made that comment earlier in this thread, but I still think I could benefit from the higher volume.
Anyway, I’m pretty happy with my current progress—at least I won’t be embarrassed at the water park later today—but I’ve still got a lot work to do: I’m excited to finish out T-ransformation 2026 as well as I’ve started!

Good call! I’ve been really enjoying the last two weeks of 350 swings a day. So much, I may just keep it and work up to adding more volume.
I have fallen on the wagon a bit. Made some good progress, hit some milestones but with a bit of work and life stress compounding ive let my diet go. Better to do it 67 days out than 5 days out though! Time to course correct.
Finally checking in after a while off the site. Haven’t been active on here much, just been busy and with my run training doesn’t seem interesting to log but training has been going great!
I’ve been doing a minimalist KB program mostly with some deadlifts and hack squats on certain days depending on run training mileage that week.
Chin ups feeling SO much easier and explosive, pretty much getting my chest to the bar which never happened before, the weight loss definitely helping with this!
Half marathon prep has been amazing as well, longest run so far completed has been 10 miles (16km) ….on a treadmill bc the weather has still been horrible…I think the mental part of running for so long on a treadmill is honestly the hardest part not even the distance anymore.
Body weight on February 6 was 234.8 lbs March 9 weigh in was 226.4lbs so I’m super happy with 8 lbs loss as I did want to lean out.

I pretty much only use the site for logging now, can’t make sense of it after the change - @simo74 's old log is the top of the list every single time I log in. I give up LOL.
BUT I’m serious about the goals I set at the beginning of the year.
Update on my situation:
a) I completed a 4-week snatch-depth remediation program (laugh all you want). No idea yet if it really changed anything, because now that it’s over I’m focused on something else.
b) I’m in serious countdown-to-spartan-race mode. Here’s what I did today:
6 rounds of:
-Half-mile run
-6 sandbag throws over shoulder
-6 burpees
No rest between rounds. Got the whole thing done just under 33 minutes.
VERY proud of that work capacity.
I have work travel this week, but when I come back, I’m going to take diet more seriously for about 1-2 weeks. I’m not sold on doing Keto, although I know it would work; I’d like to heal my guts (weird inflammation stuff going on) and also drop 4-5lb to be lighter weight during runs and climbs for Spartan.
Realistically, with just a few weeks to the race, I should be able to drop that and keep it off for the timeframe pretty easily.

Quick update. Today was day one of the 10,000 kettlebell swing challenge. I feel exactly how I thought I would after doing 500 kettlebell swings. The program calls for 35# kettlebell for ladies but I started with 25 because I had no frame of reference. I’m glad I started lighter. I will work up to 35. Hopefully I will get at least 5,000 of the swings done at that weight. I’ll let you all know how it went when I’m done. @T3hPwnisher thanks for the suggestion. @freshyfresh thanks for the warning about my hands.
I remember my forearms being absolutely smoked the first few days of that program, they adapted really quickly though. Id have to go back to really read my log during that time to see the full thoughts but I do kinda remember liking it

My first session, I filled the kitchen sink with icewater and soaked my forearms. Between sets, iirc, and longer after the session.
Within the first few sessions i had adapted and didn’t need the icewater.
We will see how the forearms feel tomorrow. I’m afraid to say they’re ok because I really don’t want to jinx myself.
Entertaining side note. Two days in and the only part of my body that doesn’t hurt is my forearms. Well, maybe my feet as well.
Weighed in at 171.0 lbs this morning (started at 173.6). Still going strong on KB training - currently following a Pavel program called “AXE training”. Really enjoying the complete 180 from having done CF for a couple years, and pivoted to this last August/September. The idea is that it’s “A + A” training, which is anti-glycolytic + aerobic. The sets are short and hard, with no drop off in power. The rest between the sets are sufficient to hit the next one completely fresh and be able to duplicate the effort each set throughout the workout. Really fun to train this way and some cool science behind it.
I really didn’t lift too much til beginning of march. I was so beat up from my prep for my powerlifting meet. But I am on a strong program now; if a completely different routine than I have ever done. Still not abs, but gaining size nicely
