It’s 4:30 and my friends will be here for a wine and apps party in an hour or so. I am eating a quick plate of obnoxiously pale food - chicken, cauliflower, and 1/2 cup rice - in an attempt to limit less cut-friendly food to reasonable portions, and also provide a base for the alcohol. This will hopefully allow me to make better decisions about both as the evening progresses.
Although I’m prepared to make poor choices if necessary (lol) because it’s girls night, which is important.

I don’t know. There were some questionable decisions as it turns out. I suppose maybe the pre-game pale food prevented worse decisions, hard to tell. Lot of wine. And I hit that pub cheese pretty hard. Also the brie. (Crackers…OMG, heavenly.) Thank god no one set out lines of coke or bowls of chocolate pudding. I’m not sure what I’d have done.
I find a coke binge half way through a bulk works as a mini-cut to set the stage, reignite my appetite, and resensitize my body for the next couple months of a calorie surplus.
I have some pics from a few weeks ago but my eyes weren’t telling me there was a huge difference… I do feel like “something” happened this week that was more than just what the scale registers
Also my love handle region isn’t dropping on the tape measure like I remember at this weight, but we will see what the pictures look like at the end of this month
Haven’t taken any pics in a while, but did step on the scale this morning. I weighed in at 170.2 lbs, which is right about where I tend to stay. Not the best approach for a transformation challenge, though.
