Mate, what the hell would I transform in TO? A fatter version of myself?

Maybe if you keep pushing yourself you will unlock you “X-gene” like Deadpool and become a super powered mutant…
Whether that’s desirable or not, I don’t know. Some of those mutant powers are kind of useless.

Yeah, I can’t really gain or lose weight in this period and I’m not focusing on physique goals at all…

I can post before and after’s looking exactly the same.

This takes a special skill.

I am either regressing or progressing. Never learned how to maintain.

It’s what I do every time we run these transformation challenge :joy::joy:

Is something like this recommended for beginners? I’m only 2 weeks into my program. It’s a 33+ week program so it seems like it will fit the timeline.

Experience level shouldn’t dictate how you have fun.

I can’t think of a better way to jump in, unless you struggle with an eating disorder or self-image. I certainly wouldn’t try to internet diagnose anyone, but I think those would be reasons not to compare shirtless pictures of oneself to others.

Hopefully that’s not you and this is just for fun and you’re in.

What if, instead of that, I just develop a serious meth addiction and get a crazy six pack.

I like how the meth addiction is serious while the size pack is crazy and not the other way around.

There is already a before and after picture of my foot for wart removal on the internet somewhere. I don’t think this can be any worse than that. I’ll be in.

Ill be in. Working hard at the moment to gain some fat before Christmas.

Don’t try to do too much at once. Focus first on the meth addiction. I’ve seen far too many try to develop a meth addiction while also working on other personal goals (meditation, a teaching certificate, setting a PR on a 5K) and end up with a mild dependency rather than a full blown addiction. Don’t let this be you. Once the teeth start falling out, then turn your attention to your midsection. Dan John has a Chapter on this approach in his newest book.

Is this open to any member of the forums?

I completed twelves weeks of the Surge Challenge, and would love to do this, too, if you’ll have me.

At 44, I don’t know what kind of transformation is possible in five months, but I’d be up to find out.

This is open for anyone, we would be more than happy to have you join!

Open to everyone mate. Its a great place to support others whilst holding yourself accountable. The transformation result is less important than the taking place for most of us.

Glad to hear it.

I enjoyed the sense of community in the early days–most jumped ship after a few weeks–of the Surge Challenge. It was cool getting encouragement from dudes who bench pickup trucks and squat bulldozers.

Let’s do it!
