Guns, bats, knives, etc. have self-defense utility and minimal collateral damage. Nuclear weapons do not.

It was a response to Nich dealing with Australia and how they prefer gun control laws.
V then altered my post to say that all people who support gun control laws are pussies. Since it was already established Australians supported gun control laws he was therefore xalling Australians pussies. Surely it’s not too much of a stretch to infer V thinks Australians are wrong to support gun control laws. Is that enough of a hint that someone gives a flying fuck about what “the fucking pussies do in their own country”?

Let me guess you don’t want to give up your car because you feel you have a legitimate use for it even if they do sometimes get used to commit murder.
Guns have a legitimate use too. Just because you live in a society where the need for them may not be so readily apparent it does not mean that cannot change. The problem with your point of view is you have been lulled into a false sense of security because Australia has low crime, the government has been benign and you haven’t faced the threat of invasion for a long time.
So because you haven’t been presented with circumstances that give you cause for concern, you just take your freedom and security for granted. You entrust it to strangers in blind faith because you believe it couldn’t happen here because Australians are so much better than everyone else.
China has not had any school shootings. Of course they have schools that are so poorly built they collapse killing lots of kids and if the parents protest too loudly they can easily be shot by the authorities. But at least they don’t have any school shootings. Living in a dictatorship is a small price to pay to avoid that.

What is sad is the police had the shooter in questioning the day before. What is sad is it took the police ten minutes to arrive at the school and begin trying to do something. What is really sad is after two hours of the police failing to do anything the gunman did their job for them and committed suicide.
What is sad is how you fail to see that the reason why he killed so many is because he was virtually unopposed.
