I want to see tait get his ass kicked, but i think im going to be let down since they showed him at ultimate fight night last week.
Which might mean he made it to the finals.

Or it might mean he was there with Rogan. In my opinion Tait doesn’t have the skills to make it to the finals…period…he trains with Eddie Bravo and Rogan, but I don’t think he’ll ever be UFC caliber.
Anyways, I think Shamrock should’ve kicked the shit out of Kalib…it seems to me his team doesn’t respect Shamrock enough because of his losses to Tito and so on. The one thing most of those fuckers should keep in mind is that he’d kick the shit out of every last one of them.
I hope Tito wins tomorrow, I actually met him once at an autograph signing, and he was actually super nice. He was exactly how he is coming off in the show, very outgoing and personable. It’s funny to me how all the fans turned on him after two losses to the top two guys in the division(Couture and Liddell,) Tito is still young and has a great chance to come back and be even better than those two.

Nothing sweeter than a brutal armbar, especially from the bottom. It looked like he fucked that kids elbow up real bad, though to Jesse’s credit he didn’t show it. Tait is a real twat, I hope that kid gets owned. I agree about Kalib, he was being very disrespectful to Ken I thought. They really dig up some assholes for this show.[/quote]
That was a very nice armbar. I agree that Kalib was being disrespectful to Shamrock. If these guys were so great, they wouldn’t need this show to basically audition for the UFC. You can disagree with Ken all you want when practice is over, but to try and show him up, whether you agree or disagree with his training methods, is not very professional. Shamrock is the coach and what he says during however long the show is (40 days I think), goes, end of story.
Oh, and the guy that keeps complaining about Tito paying more attention to Matt and not giving him a fair shake needs to stop crying. Matt is deaf and while he does have an interpreter now, he wasn’t there at the beginning.

He’s definitely growing on me. I’m happy for him that he’s got the interpreter Wing as his…Wingman. Heehee. Get it? Sorry, couldn’t resist.

I don’t know man. He lost some points with me for his cooking last night. I mean, spaghetti with meat sauce and slices of toast?? As a self-respecting Italian-American, that hurt to watch. I mean, come on Tito. Find a loaf of whole wheat semolina or something. Ouch. ![]()

It looked like he was making “garlic bread”.
I knew the meal was going to be bad when I saw him frying red onions, which should never be fried.
But hey, he’s a fighter and not a cook, right?

LOL!
Im so tired of this reality shit. This show is retarded, it’s 55 minutes of reality show drama, and the last 5 minutes is a fight, in which 75% of them are lame and boring. Then Dana White pumps his reality show winners into UFC like they worked their way up to belong there.

Yea, Forrest Griffin didn’t even deserve to fight Tito!
Oh wait…he did a great job.
I guess you better think about that.

The UFC may have have not known that
he needed an interperter due to the
fact he lip reads very well. a possible
oversight. even me though i know very
little sign language. i’m totaly deaf
in one and almost in the other. with
help from a cochlear implant. as for
matt’s wrestling background is very
impressive and should make an impact
imediately.
Missed last weeks episode, just saw 4/27’s repeat of the brit beating the cajun. The cajun didnt even belong in the same ring, did all right on the ground, but holy cow, the ref was right to stop the fight. Meanwhile it just seems like they are setting shamrock up as some kind of boob this season just like hughes was “the bad guy” last season. It was an interesting contrast when tito was talking about how much he appreciated the faith that his guys had in him, that they were putting themselves in his hands, etc etc, then it cuts to shamrocks guys training on their own because thats how much they mistrust his training. The clip of shamrock watching himself come out to a fight was f-ing HILARIOUS. Very dry humor, my type exactly. Part of me says its not fair that tito’s guys are getting such better coaching, but I really friggin hate some of shamrocks guys anyway - that melon-headed tait? prick. Kaleb the canadian who won on the first episode walking around in those fancy little sunglasses? Metro. Interesting how they are kinda laying the groundwork to set matt up as a dick, ie, the brit complaining about how he showboats, the other tito team member complaining that he goes 100%, etc. I cant wait for this thursday, when I guess shamrock snaps or something
Shamrock watching himself on TV was priceless…I’m convinced the guy is sabotoging the fighters on his team b/c he doesn’t want them “taking his spot” in the UFC. Whereas Tito wants his guys to train and improve, Shamrock’s only looking out for himself.
Glad to see Christian go. Not that he was a bad guy or anything but the dude showed up in terrible shape.
Looks like we’ll have our first Tito-Shamrock confrontation this week…should be interesting.

Shamrock could fight in any UFC he wants. He’s a 40+ year old washed-up fighter, but he puts asses in seats.
It’s important to Tito that people like him. Watch him get choked up when he gets booed at UFCs. He also does the mocking hands-to-the-eyes crying routine, but you can tell it gets to him. That’s why he’s spending this season doing whatever it takes to make himself look good like giving the self-serving lines like, “I hate Shamrock because he hates the fans.” Yeah, he turns away little blind leper kids asking for autographs, and Tito pays for their college educations. Whatever.
Shamrock is coming off as a total clueless joke of a trainer. Yeah, let’s get a dietician in here and watch some UFC tapes. I never totally agreed with the Lions Den training methods, but why isn’t he doing that? He’s doing the opposite of what he did when he taught there. It seems like the UFC is trying to make him look like an ass.
Anyway, I’ve met both of these guys and they both were nice guys to me. It’s reality tv, but I don’t know how much reality is going on.

The more I watch the show the worse my opinion of shamrock gets.
I was under the impression the Lions Den/shamrock were real sticklers for training hard. I have yet to see a tough workout from that entire camp.
They aren’t even training smart. The least he could do is work more on their technique.
I will be interested to see how his training from here on in will be. Since he made the comment that now that it is a smaller group he can work with them more.
Two things that blew my mind.
-
Even though he was pegged as being in the worst shape, the contrast in conditioning was staggering. The cajun looked like he was going to pass out 30 seconds into the fight. I honestly think that even if he did show better, he would have been finished heading into the second, anyway. Amazing.
-
What really amazed me was Shamrock saying to the cajun something like, you are just going to go in there and do the same thing you always do. I sat there and thought, yeah, you sure wouldn’t want to teach him anything new and round him out a little. WTF? He keeps saying that if they haven’t learned it by now, he can’t teach them? Isn’t that why you sign up with a coach? It’s really strange.
I keep reminding my self that how they edit the show makes a big difference but so far, I am not impressed with Shamrock at all and actually now understand why Tito handed him the whuppin’ he did.
Him showing videos of fights to these guys as a method of “coaching”, who most likely are huge fans of the sport and watch everything that comes their way anyway, was laughable.

I dunno, I didnt get to see all of his post fight interview, but didnt he basically say “cheer for me, boo for me, whatever, just keep coming to my fights?” I guess the question is which is the real tito, the one that gets all glassy-eyed talking about his students or the punk who wouldnt even shake forrest’s hand (that pissed me off, actually)? In all likelihood neither is completely inaccurate, but I just think theyre both worth pointing out.
As far as Shamrock watching his own video, I thought the best was that when he’s watching his entrance, it’s almost like he’s “studying” it, trying to figure out what lessons he can take from him walking to the ring. hilarious.
What about that Ed Herman guy? What is his background? He seems to have the most confidence of all of them. A big attitude, but Tito seemed to be kicking himself when he realized who he was. But, who is he?

He is going to get beaten like a redheaded stepchild.
I was impessed with Bisping.( a.k.a Limey Primadona)
I wanna see Solomon ( a.k.a Black dude with no tooth) figth Tait ( a.k.a Sloth form Goonies).
Tait is an ass.
Solomon is mellow and goofy, for some reason that makes me think he might be viscious in the ring.

I agree. He thinks way to highly of him self, not to mention there are several guys there that would be a match for him.
