I just realized, I can’t believe nobody mentioned Frankln’s team prancing, prancing, prancing around the octagon in tighty-whities. Maybe we’re all just trying to block it out of our heads.
Joe Stevenson will probably win the welterweight? Did you see how he beat the crap out of that dude marcus…
Plus Joe was on roids, correct me if I’m wrong but did you see the gyno on Joe
I don’t know if we can start going down the roid path. His bio says he’s competed (and held titles) from 155 to 205. With that range of weight gain/loss, it’s possible that he’s unfortunate in the genetic department, and it’s just a remnant of heavier days.

Point 1 - I hate to say it, but Jorge broke my heart. Very disappointing to see him lose. Once again, if he wasn’t injured, it would’ve been a different game. But, that pretty much doesn’t matter now.
Point 2 - Von Flue is the Terminator. Both guys had serious chins, but Von Flue just would not stop. That’s serious heart.
Point 3 - I don’t know how Joe Stevenson walks straight, he’s got balls the size of watermelons. That challenge was in-F’n-sane.
Point 4 - It was clever and strategic for Franklin to forfeit the challenge, but I don’t think it should’ve been allowed. I think that’s playing “the reality game” a bit much.
I think Jorge was worn out. He was breathing so hard he couldn’t keep his mouth piece in. He has a little burst of energy towards the end, but by then it was too late.

right on man!
it looked to me that Jorge might have been a little out of shape…but that Jason guy was very underrated. his couterfighting was superb…i’m guessing he’s done a lot of streetfighting and a lot more groundfighting than he lets on.
hopefully the heavyweight figths get better…so far the welterweights are the only decent fights…
also, i officailly don’t like Hughes. nothing against his talent or work ehtic-he’s just one of those super intense people that is polar opposites of me…
btw, does anybody know if they’re gonna put this stuff out on DVD? that would be kinda cool…

so kenedy, when are you gonna fight Chuck Liddell? I mean, its not like he’s a real fighter or anything, right…
Check liddell doesn’t openly accept challanges and fight anyone anywhere. He can try his best but all that sissy grabbing and wrestling isn’t going to help him beat up a Marine.
kennedy, mark kerr throttled an army ranger by the name of greg stott i believe it was, in about 30 seconds w/ a single knee to the head. i respect those in the armed forces a great deal, but, in general, their hand-to hand skills are not on par w/ some of the ufc guys. i’m not saying the worst ufc lightweight would smoke every single marine superheavy out there, but if u think liddell couldn’t beat at least 75% of the marines in his weight class, u r delirious. and when i say 75%, i’m being generous. ask that stott fella what he thinks of the ufc.
I’m glad Jorge is gone too, he talked a good game, but couldn’t follow thru against one of Matt’s middle of the road guys. Von Flue had no punch defense and left himself wide open everytime he threw a punch but Jorge obviously didn’t have the power he thought cause he did land a couple of shots to no avail…Matt Whitehead from Hughes’ team is a good heavyweight out of the Millitich camp and former all american wrestler, so I can’t wait to see him go at it soon.
It was the best fight so far… both were game. Jorge gased because he put on to much weight for the show, he naturally weights in at 150-155. All that new weight was to much for him. Even if it was 10-15 pounds… still has a big effect on the body.
Jorge trained in Muay Thai? He did not show me any Mauy Thai skills at all.
It was agreat fight!!
I thought Jason was going to tap out in the first round. This has been better than the first season. I can’t wait to see the finals.
Although this weeks fight was the best so far, I still thought that it sucked.
I kept thinking that neither of them had any power whatsoever. How many times did Jorge land punches on Jasons face to no avail. And Jason was trying to knee the shorter Jorge, but his knees were SLOW.
I assume they were both gassed, because either one of them could have ended the fight with some power.
I thought the challenge was impressive for Hughes team, but shitty that the green team didn’t even give it a go. I couldn’t believe that those guys went for almost 2 hours, sweating buckets.

I’m guessin his knee had a lot to do with that. I saw it buckle and it looked bad when they replayed it. At least he gave it his all.

Yea I heard him talking to Franklin, he said it poped 2 time and then buckled. Also, your right, he normally does fight at 150 so that extra weight wasn’t helping his knee or his stamina. I’m thinking if he gets healed up and goes back to his weight class he would be pretty darn good.
Cycobushmaster,
Season 1 comes out on DVD on Nov 1st.
You’d think they would release it prior to Season 2 airing on TV, so viewers could catch up on missed episodes; also, to build up hype for the new season.
Figures though. UFC 52 just came out on DVD last week, yet they’re already hyping UFC55 for next month.
