Ultimate Cluster Program: Replace Floor Press with Dips?

This is my 2nd time running this program and really like the RESULTS!

I’m on the 2nd Block and have a question.
On the 1st assistance movement for the bench press I wanted to see if I could do Dips in this situation?

With the options you have listed is : Floor press, decline, football bar, and duffalo bar.

The only thing I can do with my set up is floor press but I chose that last time I ran the program.

Could I replace that with Dips?

Or just stick to floor press again since it is a barbell movement.

Thank you

Refresh my memory (I write so many programs, I don’t remember all of them): is the assistance exercise also done as a cluster? If so, dips aren’t ideal. BUT can be used if you use a bench or step to get into the starting position of each rep.

In the article the assistance lift is also a cluster. But we spoke when I ran this a few months back and you told me if I wanted to I could only do the main lift as a cluster and the assistance as regular sets 3 sets of 4 to 6 reps.

So that is the way I decided to do it is as regular sets as opposed to cluster

Then dips are fine

Love the program. Getting strong from the clusters but also surprised at the size gains from them!

Also like the supplementary work in rest pause form for added size!

Good stuff
