thanks.
Hey guys,
despite losing a lot of weight on holiday the return to the gym has been pretty succesful and appear to have lost very little if any strength! so at least my power to weight ratio has improved!!
thought it would be good to post the scheme I’m using to prepare to whoop ass at xmas deadlift gathering!
Using a varient of straight forward reps:
Week 1: 3 sets of 8
Week 2: 3 sets of 8, 3 sets of 4
week 3: 5,3,2,5,3,2 (85.90.95,87,92,97%max)
week 4: 3 sets of 6 (80%)
So basically a loading and unloading system that worked well for me in the past.
workouts
Sunday, speed squat 1

ob crunch on bench with weight

STU
great link to exercises where there are some great examples of how to set up the bands and incorporate work into sessions.
Has anyone seen my post “UK T-Cell 2”
I wrote it last week after going up to Beni’s gym…
Just got back from a week at Center Parcs… Quality…
Cheers…Stubob…
Totally off topic really.
Does anyone know where heavy medicine balls are available in the UK?
Is Dannyboy’s power mince being done with a black mini? How are you meant to do it? I’ve been walking up and down my hall doing it with a green band and my butt is on fire!
Just a regular purple looped through a normal weights belt and then round the foot.
Sounds like you got it right.
Cheers Stu, what about your knee height, stride length, did you guys do anything specific?
