Yea…I just posted the full translated version under the Cro Cop Sux thread (which, by the way, is one of the stupidest threads on this website right now).
As far as his involvement with Parliament and such, his 4 year term is over in 6 months and after that he stated his political career will be over.
He is, however, re-entering the Croatian special forces where he had previously already served because, as I have read, he loves the job and was a childhood dream of his. He is not contemplating retirement and will, at the least, fulfill his 4 fight contract.
I really hope he comes back with a vengeance and silences all the haters.

Actually, many of the top Pride fighers are around 30, cro cop is 32. Now, if he was 32 and a punching bag all his career then he would be old. But he doesnt get touched that much. Look at his record. If he can get back to or beyond 100% then he has some miles in him.

It is also fun to bust on the PRIDE nuthuggers that have seen a few PPV’s and think they are experts.

i watched a version of the fight in japanese on youtube and i cant understand japanese…so if the announcers did say all of that they are right on why he lost…

thank you. i was going to respond in kind, but saw your post and decided to piggy back off it. I can’t say I would fully blame the “pride nuthuggers,” as you call them. I think people just need an anti-hero to cling to in contrast to the UFC, especially w/ UFC becoming so dominant, at least in terms of sales and mainstream attention.
but I get so sick of hearing all the “pride this, Cro-cop that.” Maybe the results of UFC 70 will cause all the “Cro-Cop is going to take out Couture,” bandwagon jumpers to re-think their position?
