I don’t think Rampage will be the one taking the belt from Shogun, maybe Lyoto again?

Shogun got Rampage number, Rashad is going to fall to Rampage, and if he doesn’t he can expect getting beat the shit out by Shogun.

I’m really hoping for Minotoro and Shogun 2, to me is the second best fight in mma that ever happened. Only after Crocop Vs Fedor

Nope, Rashad is much better than Rampage. Rampage is pretty one dimensional and hasn’t evolved at all. Shit happens, but I seriously doubt rampage wins unless he somehow catches rashad with a hook.

Yea… he’s got a lot to learn about trolling yet.

Rampage is actually a lot like Chuck Liddell. They’re not one-dimensional in their abilities…but seem to be stuck in one-dimensional way of fighting.

Rampage actually has decent wrestling and takedown defense…just has rarely had to use it lately.

I don’t think it’s so much that he hasn’t evolved…he hasn’t fought(or trained) to the best of his abilities. Hell, apparently he didn’t even train for fights in the past.

But on paper,Rashad is more well-rounded. But if he had problems with Thaigo Silva,he’s gonna have major problems with Rampage. Which that fight reminds me…Rashad can’t take a punch like Rampage can.

But I can see Rampage’s conditioning being a factor…i.e…Rashad will have more gas in the tank, imo.

I think Rampage is a much better athlete and more talented fighter than Rashad. However, I think I could also have said the same thing about Thiago Silva. However, Rashad is a much smarter fighter, seems to come from a better camp and I think he will do what is necessary to win the fight.

The only thing that worries me is that Rampage does have good wrestling and could possibly stuff Rashad’s takedowns. Rampage has the strength to stuff a takedown, land some shots and put Rashad in a real bad place.

I think it will be a close fight and this is probably the most excited I have been for a non-title fight. With the genuine bad blood between these two, I can’t see it being boring.

I’m going with Page by KO he seems motivated and seems to be conditioning hard.
And remember Jtrinsey Rashad is Greg Jackson fighter. He’s either going for leg kicks or td’s or both. No way he stands up with Rampage. We saw it in his last fight and he almost got knocked out again, Machida made him hesitant to stand. I really hope Rampage wins because Rashad vs Shogun has boring written all over it.

Agreed, although I’ve never seen Rashad really look to throw a lot of leg kicks. If Rampage stuffs his takedowns though, he’ll have no choice but to stay standing.

i think it’ll be an interesting fight…it seems like Rampage is training for once, so that’s gonna be tough for anyone. i think his boxing is better than Rashad’s, and his wrestling is nearly as good, at least from a MMA standpoint…

i think Rashad has a lot fo tools, but his strnght is his wrestling (obviously), and Rampage can counter that pretty easily…he will have to utilize leg kicks and movement, as well as an occasion takedown and flurry of punches to mix things up.

i don’t like Rampage, but i have a feeling he’s gonna take the fight…

I call a Rampage KO late in the second or early in the third.

That is, if Rashad decides to stand. If Evans is smart about it, he’ll take Rampage down him and out point him with takedowns and control.

He won’t be able to TKO Page or KO him.

No, Rashad vs Shogun means slaughter to Shogun and fun to us fans.

Rashad took Thiago Silva to decision and almost got knocked-down on the third round, Shogun will murder him.
