I mean the sandwich. Any of you guys ever have one of those days? Big test coming up or work deadline, kid won’t let you work or study, it’s time for your next meal but you just can’t stomach more chicken, or even protein powder, so you completely blow the diet for a little while. I had just started the Anabolic Diet, and I have a chem test on Saturday, the stress got to me and I ate a 2 foot hoagie, a huge bag of chips, and about 1/2 of a half gallon of ice cream. Any similar “losing it” stories?
Do not worry, you are not alone. On my “free” days, you used to have to batten down the hatches because I would turn into the tazmanian devil! I know it sounds girlish and feminine, but cravings for food actually do tell alot about what is currently going on in our lives. Life is too short to worry about the occasional binge! Chalk it up as a learning experience and move on. Now when I get these type cravings I try to go and do something else to get my mind off of the food. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not…hey, we are all human.
I do the same exact thing, a good old fashioned eating binge is good for the soul. THat’s why the warrior diet never really worked for me.
