Tweaks on my Bent Over Row

I think my bent over row form is pretty decent, Dont try and go to heavy and keep my back flat. My problem is I feel like im getting to much back development right under my shoulders and I want to build some more mass closer to the middle of my back, or atleast lower then right below my shoulders. Ive been taught by football to have my body parallel to the ground which may be the problem?

I pull to my chest/stomach

I use a grip thats probably between what people would consider wide and medium.

I pull to the stomach (if I wore a belt the bar would hit the buckle) I use a slightly wider than shoulder wirth grip, body angle around 45degrees. I feel it mainly in the lower lats & middle back.
