Tudor Bompa certifications

Does anyone know if the Tudor Bompa certifications are nationaly credible? If you don’t know what I am talking about, go to tudorbompa.com and look under certifications.

dinosaur,

I need you to devote more time to actual weightlifting. Throw in some reading. Devote four hours every day to reflective thought. I guarantee you will improve yourself. Good luck!!!

I am just curious to what makes you think that I don’t participate in enough weightlifting and reading? Apparently, from what I have read today on both of your posts, all that you can offer people are your opinions which have no bearing on no one’s life. Please tell why you don’t think I life enough, I would love to hear your response especially since you have no idea who I am.

Dyno- I have no idea, but if you look around at what is nationally credible (A.C.E. and the such) I’m not so sure that I’d worry about the credibility as opposed to the content. If you’re hoping to get a job with it, you may have to get certified by some worthless programs just to get your foot in the door.

US=GG is an idiot. All he ever wants to talk about is politics. He’s afraid to put his picture on the board for “personal reasons”. What a joke he is.

Thanks Paul.

dinosaur,

If you participated in activities that required thought, you could answer your own questions. However, I realize that you do not. Therefore, I will spell it out for you. I used extrapolation to infer your characteristics. I’ll give you two examples.

You wrote, “have no bearing on no one’s life.” That sentence uses two “no’s” within three words. Further, no literate person would have written that sentence. It should have said, “it does not have any bearing on a single individual’s life.”

You wrote, “Please tell why you don’t think I life enough.” I’m not sure what “life enough” means. I think you meant to say “lift enough.” This carelessness implies that you do not take grammar seriously. A person can make a typing or grammatical error on occasion. However, when the person makes several in two adjacent sentences, that person is a dunce.

Finally, the fact that you cannot spell dinosaur speaks volumes.

Do you understand now? I hope so. If you read and think you will be able to apply these tactics with accurracy and precision.

Now to the inference that you are about 160-165 pounds. That is based on the tone of your posts. You lack the confidence that a larger man usually possesses. A bigger man, does not have as many natural predators. Therefore, his discourse exudes confidence. You spend your time looking for a gimmick to attract attention. For example, trying to crush a bottle between your legs. A larger, more confident man, would have no time or need for this sort of triviality. In summary, look at the bicep of your left arm and tell me whether I speak the truth.

US = GG.

No offence, but judging a dude by his grammar on an internet message board seems rather… disturbing.

He probably had an off day when he was just burnt out and typed as fast as possible to get a question answered.
Honestly, some good posters on here don’t always use correct grammar or punctuation, but that never detracts from what I learn from them. Chill dude.

Maybe english isn;t his first language. And we all know people who don;t type immaculate english on a shitty forum can;t weigh more than 170 pounds.

PS: I was gonna make fun of you with a reference to crushing bottles but us=gg ruined it for me. Bastard

US=GG,

Verbose much? Do you really think anyone on these forums are impressed by your condescending remarks? Your recognition of a double negative doesn’t make you an authority on the English language. Recognizing typos and actually posting about them DOES make you an authority on being unbearably anal about forum posting.

The correlation you make between grammar and physical strength? Geez man, we’re all dumber for having read that crap. If that’s your idea of humour, keep it to yourself.

Keep it clean on the forums, I know everyone else here would be much better off for it.

Now back to the original question. You will more than likely learn more with a cert. from Bompa. I would rather go that (Bompa) route as it usually isn’t too big of an issue as to where your cert. came from. You’ll be starting off with much more knowledge and people will recognize that.

Anyone care to guess how much I weigh? WTF?

Honestly, I think the man already answered his own question.

Dude, it’s TUDOR BOMPA!!!

… That’s all I need to say.

US=GG is fucking funny, his writing style is really clever.

Speaking as someone who actually took the time to get one of these certifications (P-SCE) a couple of years ago, I’ll give my two cent’s. I can honestly say I learnt a great deal while doing the correspondence course, particularly in regards to periodization. However, I am no longer a really big fan of linear periodization, and from a recognition standpoint, I don’t think the Bompa cert. really helped me. I you want to learn the info, get his books, they are a valueable resource. If you want, I can dig around and see if I still have my exam questions and you can just practice doing some of the case studies. Since taking Bompa’s course, I have gone on to get my CSCS, which generally caries a bit more weight.
