Hi there,
Just to introduce myself i’m a 25 yr old girl from australia and i’ve been working out on and off for a few years now but have not been as serious about it as i am now.
firstly this is an awsome site that has helped me out alot and ive decided to try the Velocity Diet to hopefully lose a little extra fat before my wedding later in the year.
at the moment i am doing
tues: back and bi’s
wed: legs, abs
Fri: chest, shoulders and tri’s
sat: HIIT
sun: HIIT, legs
my question is, do the HIIT cardio days require the increased calories (from carbs PWO) that a workout day like tues/wed/fri would, or are they treated as non-workout days because im not doing any weights?
The diet im following in summary is:
6 protein shakes a day
2x fibre supplement
2x 30g seeds/nuts(fats) per day
200-300calories of liquid carbs mainly PWO - only on workout days…
although i wasnt aware there was an exercise protocol for the diet… should i be cutting out all cardio?

Can you list your exact supplements please?
No milled flax? No fish oil?
The training advice is in the original articles. Basically, 3 full body weight training sessions per week with heavy weights. No “cardio,” but daily fast walks are recommended.
Supplements im taking at the moment:
fish oil capsules (wich ill have to increase)and i also eat pumpkin seeds for their protein/fat content.
fibre - psyllium husks with other fibres blended in.
zinc solution.
iron solution.
magnesium.
man SCORCH - stimulant.
CArb up - PWO liquid carbs.
I see that you’re in Australia so I’m not sure how that will affect you getting the right supplements for the diet, but please don’t start the V-Diet until you do (if you plan on doing a true Velocity plan.) I want you to succeed, and following the diet closely is crucial.
Any questions, let me know or run a search for the multiple V-Diet threads on this site.
