The announcement of Hicks’s resignation comes one day after she sat for a marathon interview with the House Intelligence Committee as part of its investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.
Hicks frustrated some committee members by refusing to answer questions about events during the presidential transition and after Trump took office.
I was actually able to find some old Benghazi freakouts from my relatives back down home. I even specifically found one where my uncle said “When her people won’t even answer questions you know the bitch is guilty.”
God bless Donald Trump. I don’t say it enough. 4 years of listening to my family rage about HRC POTUS would have been miserable anyways.

How off the cuff was POTUS tariff announcement today? I’m told Trump was convinced by CEOs’ arguments, told them to wait there, ducked into a school safety event for 40 minutes, then went back to steel meeting + called in the press for the portion we saw on camera. Staff stunned.

To be totally fair and transparent, I fuckin love this. The number of times some uberhedgefund on Wall Street can EASILY get away with inside information and taking advantage of situations like this due to govt contacts.
If it’s going to happen regardless, the overall shift on the market (long term) is the exact same (or 99% the exact same). Might as well spring it on people and yank the bandaid.

Depends on your perspective. China is straight dumping. Their mills are subsidized hard, and they sell steel at a loss even after the subsidies. If you believe in free markets and less government interference, this is bad.
If you interpret ‘promote the general welfare’ as protecting the country’s industry and jobs… you could do worse than target Chinese steel.

Tariffs on imported steel & aluminum don’t only hurt China, it also hits our allies hard (Canada & the EU) as well as US businesses and consumers. Considering Trump is also refusing to enact sanctions on Russia, I don’t see how anyone could see this as a good thing.
The Dow went down 480 points yesterday and has lost another 325 so far today.
