Trump: The First Year

Hi

You don’t know my views. Instead of arguing some mythical version of my political beliefs argue against what they actually are

If only I were so fortunate…

Yes, they are. Not long ago, Raj spent his time appealing to “conservatives” to restrict immigration, reduce/rid the nation of POC, etc. because POC were incapable of living in conservative/libertarian societies because of their race (based on genetically unalterable IQ levels, they will always vote “liberal”).

That flopped.

Now, Raj spends his time appealing to “liberals” to restrict immigration, reduce/rid the nation of POC, etc. because POC are likely to vote away important social insurance benefits from white people and we’d also spare our nation the horrors of income inequality.

He’s all over the map, except for one thing - his ever present racism. He’ll try every tact to get someone, anyone to believe POC shouldn’t be in America.

This appears to be looking at entire regions, not individual states.

I wonder what the “income inequality” was during different periods in our country’s history?

The 1880’s, 1930’s, 1950’s and the 1970’s for example.

The usual caveats about Wikipedia apply, but see:

So what year do we gotta go back to for America to be great again? We still get to keep internet porn right? I cant go back to magazines weve come to far

Interesting you posted this, HH.

As a student of History…I often challenge people who speak fondly of this vague “PAX Romana” of American History. This time of greatness and purity, where Men were Men…and darkies sang of their fondness for their old Kentucky Home.

As they blurt out some time frame (like "the '40’s)…I proceed to let them know what Life was like for large segments of America…at which point I’m just met with evil stares…

Yea I always wonder when this time was myself… Technically its a dumb saying since NOW is the best time… IE most advanced technology better health oh yea and colored folk arent used like farm machines…
If you think about it its really dumb. Make America Great is a better saying. The 40s or 50s look lame. The 60s too much war… 70s maybe…80s economy was bad except if your a wall st guy which in that case sign me up… Good music whores and tons of nose nachos…Thats my party… 90s 2000s 2010s now Im confused those seemed pretty good…

@Mufasa
While l undrrstand your Pax hypothetical, l consider 2 alternatives might be in play.

One being that people fondly hold on on to memories relatively around their coming of age. Two being that the world is changing so rapidly (due to computers?), that the average joe is overwhelmed and retreats into desire for ‘the good old days’.

Of course, that chart showing median wage dropping for 40 years may play a part, as children are not ‘automatically’ doing better than their parents. My early 80s parents seemed to have been in an economic sweet spot for their adult lives based on wages, healthcare, retirement, opportunity from a hot decades long economy.

So the 70s is what they are referring too? Makes some sense that’s not a bad bad time. Still not great if not white but I can dig it. Not a fan of disco and bush though

Thanks I didn’t make that up it’s common term…I just surround myself with degenerates

People living completely comfortable lives with free time to talk on an Internet forum about the good old days. Make no mistake about it America is better off right now than any other time in history.

No one in this thread is wondering where their next meal will come from. We all post and read way too much on here to be in any type of poor shape otherwise we’d be working more and talking about largely irrelevant stuff less. Even Raj can talk to other racists with high speed internet. He just can’t get laid

I agree hence we are in the greatest time ever. I just don’t get racism. Brown tan black whatever.
“If a girl walks by with a itty bitty waist and a round thing in your face you get sprung”
Sir mixalot

These guys are bullshitters.

They’ll talk a big talk about diversity but then put bars on the windows of their homes or live in the Midwest where the only time they see a brown guy is when they turn on national geographic

Meanwhile, the United States Senate (controlled by the GOP) voted 97-2 to sanction Russia for Russian meddling in the 2016 election (among other misdeeds) and to restrict Trump’s ability to lift or modify the sanctions:

Meddling, by the way, that didn’t occur, according to some here in PWI. For my part, I’ll trust the Senators have better information than we do here in PWI.

Another important aspect, as I noted earlier - the Senate is showing signs of regrowing its spine, and they don’t fear Trump or the electoral consequences of having challenged him on this issue.

So why do the vast majority of people in the nation not live in the Midwest?

You’re just going to have to accept the fact that an overwhelming majority of people are not pussies that are scared of anyone without the same color of skin. Just because you’re a scared bitch doesn’t mean everyone else is
